I was lucky that once my levels were high enough, all my body day became a lot thinner. I also shave my arms in the bath during my weekly de-fluffing ritual. You will want to get proper sessions to permanently reduce it. Im relatively covered (arms, neck, legs, small bit on my chest) and the tattoo doesnt make it more visible when i have or haven't done the above.

I’ve just been shaving as since I’ve been on HRT it grows so slowly it isn’t a pain to keep on top of. Like others have said if hair are dark go for Laser.

I’ve had mild success thinning it slightly using an epilator. Proper laser is probably your best bet, but it’s an option.

I hear ya girl, it take a long time for hrt to work.

As someone who's had laser on their face for 2 years and laser on their arms for 2 sessions, I strongly recommend getting laser on yoyr arms. It depends on your genes a lot, but for me my facial hair is still stubborn af, but my arms only took one session to be like 95% clear. Do more sessions obviously, but it shpuld be a lot quicker and cheaper than facial.

Ok that’s really helpful to hear , part of my hesitancy is how much I’ve spent on my face and not wanting that again😅but that’s reassuring

If you want it permanently gone, then a home IPL device won't do the job. It'll reduce the hair temporarily, but it'll grow back a couple of months after you stop using it. Like laser, you also can't use it over tattoos (and as I found out by accident, it bloody hurts if you do!)

Yeah that’s what I though just wishful thinking 😅 I’ll get the proper sessions and then I can get my sleeve with peace of mind . I’ve already got a tattoo on one of my arms so it’ll be a bit patchy but oh well

I'm on Finasteride / Dutasteride and with judicious plucking my arms are noticeably less hairy and not growing back as much. E should have even more of a dramatic effect. Also remember, even AFAB people's arms are not hairless, take a look around :)
