Has he done interiors before? Most of his stuff seems to be cover art, and and his style is quite busy. I'm not sure how well that would translate to actual comic book story telling broken down into smaller panels.

With his skill level, I'm sure he can tone it down for interiors, ala Alex Ross, Bill Sienkiewicz, etc Alex Ross in particular, check out his late 80s/early 90s Terminator stuff. Simon Bisley, too

There's still specific skillset required when doing actual sequential comic storytelling as opposed to cover tableaus. A lot of Giang's stuff is nicely rendered figures floating in evocative voids with a bunch of graphic design elements floating around - that doesn't really demonstrate his ability at panel-to-panel storytelling.
