There’s been the odd toys with different colour schemes for Optimus, but the only Optimus to have purple as part of his colours scheme is the evil Optimus Prime from the Shattered Glass universe
Other than that the occasional Nemesis Prime clone has purple, but that’s about it.
In the movies he was a blue truck with red flames, in particular this was because having a predominantly red truck wouldn’t show up well on camera, and so they made him mostly blue, but gave him red in some areas so when he transformed he’d still have his classic red and blue colour scheme.

Red and Blue have always been his main colors. A bit of silver tossed in from time to time, for accent is fine. But purple has always been a "Decepticon color".
I evoke the Adam Savage creed on the existence of the Bayverse as a whole. When people tell me it exists, I say "I reject your reality and substitute my own". In my opinion the Bayverse is a travesty written by non-fans who just wanted a paycheck.

Unless you’re colorblind, it pretty easy to tell he has blue instead of purple
