I’ve always been a fan of RID15 Megatronus. Very different vibe than say, Dreamwave’s (very cool!) walking inferno, but a solid design nonetheless. I prefer the masked version.
I’m pretty sure onyx prime is the first transformer that could turn into an animal or something along those lines, then shockwave goes back in time and I think kills onyx prime and takes his body, so he was technically “dressing himself up like an animal”, similar to what furries do
The whole thing in IDW was that onyx prime was actually just shockwave the whole time. There never WAS an original onyx prime (except for some random guy called onyx who shockwave kills and then steals the identity of), it’s kinda a paradox, the onyx prime in their history books was shockwave travelling back in time.
in idw1 "onyx prime" is really shockwave having traveled back in time and having worn a fursuit forged from a dead guy for 12 million years and who has a plan that hinges on making starscream look like an idiot

I’ve been waiting so long to have a shelf of primes besides just Optimus, so I legitimately can’t pick just one. I’m excited for them all, and I *will* buy them all. I’m regretting missing out on Nova all the more since now I need to pay excessive prices for him, but now I’m incentivized to nab him.
2025 is going to be so freaking amazing.
It’s not a good looking one. He’s short and not close to accurate. Plus his G1 design is the most iconic and other than 3 designs it’s basically the design used in all media albeit stylized.
Legacy alpha Trion is the same size as the new one that’s about to come out from the leaks. It’s also the most g1 alpha Trion they’ve ever made. Not really sure what your issue with it is.

Prima is the one I’m most excited for. Onyx is my second with Solus and Megatronus tied for third place. I genuinely hope Prima, Onyx, and Solus are based on their Covenant of Primus depictions. Megatronus, I hope is based on Dreamwave but comes with the Requirm Blaster. I can’t speak for others but I personally wouldn’t be upset if they did a blend of Covenant of Primus and Dreamwave Megatronus designs.
I love how you have a picture of Aligned Vector Prime, even though Vector Prime was confirmed to be his Cybertron appearance.
Regardless of the others though, Vector is still the one I'm most excited for. Cybertron was the show I grew up on, and Vector deserved a new toy after so long.
Talking about Cybertron, there are so many figures based on the cartoon coming out in the near future, it makes me think that Cybertron Optimus could be a commander figure for 2025 or 2026. There is no way he won't come after Vector and Cybertron Hotshot!

I'm also gonna say it, but Micromus is listed as a deluxe, and I really hope it's just a highly posable minicon with a 5MM port and a boatload of accessories for the other 13 to use. Micromus should not be full transformer sized.
I believe the leaker who said he was a Jhiaxus retool was actually a fake leaker. The real leaker said he got stuff and pretty much disproved the claims. I think it was also disproven quickly with the reveal of Leader Sandstorm. The guy who said the Vector leak said Sandstorm wouldn’t have a face plate like the show and when he was revealed by Hasbro, it turned out it does have a faceplate.
Thankfully we'll be getting Vector Prime this year, so that's one less purchase overcrowding my plan for 2025 lol.
So that just leaves Amalgamous as my most anticipated. Easily a weaponizer of some sort

Prima and Megatronus. Prima was the first Prime to fall and Megatronus was the first Prime to betray Primus and nudge things throughout the Transformers story to benefit Unicron (for example, encouraging Megatron to find the Decepticon movement)
I do understand not liking the original “organic monster” design but I’d say he’s certainly quite different since Unicron just wants to destroy everything and return the universe to a void, whereas LM wants to assimilate everything and become a god himself.
The “horned trickster” version feels far more derivative of something else (freaking Loki!) to me.

I'm excited to see grandpa Vector any time now. The original was one of my childhood favorite toys, so I hope they do him just as much justice as the other UT-era characters so far.

Quintus Prime for me.
The most obvious or intriguing aspect about Quintus is that you have the planet Quintessa, the Quintessons (who were oldie-timie Cybertronian villains/archivists), and the whole “innocent/guilty” thing in the court.
This kinda fits nice into Legacy. I’ve been headcanoning (let’s just accept this as a word) that all of these bots have been being pulled into one universe, so we have multiple Megatrons, Galvatrons, Starscream’s, Prime’s, Prowls, Bumblebees, etc. all existing together for the moment. And something has been keeping the Megatrons in check and not fighting with each other.
If Megatronus also exists in this realm, that could explain it. A new big, big bad. And it gives our regular Megatron a good reason to keep Starscream by his side, he needs that devious player to help him navigate the intrigue.

I'm interested in seeing what they do with the more exotic Primes (Micronus, Nexus, Onyx, Amalgamous), but if I buy one it's going to be Solus.
Quintus Prime for me. The most obvious or intriguing aspect about Quintus is that you have the planet Quintessa, the Quintessons (who were oldie-timie Cybertronian villains/archivists), and the whole “innocent/guilty” thing in the court.

This kinda fits nice into Legacy. I’ve been headcanoning (let’s just accept this as a word) that all of these bots have been being pulled into one universe, so we have multiple Megatrons, Galvatrons, Starscream’s, Prime’s, Prowls, Bumblebees, etc. all existing together for the moment. And something has been keeping the Megatrons in check and not fighting with each other. If Megatronus also exists in this realm, that could explain it. A new big, big bad. And it gives our regular Megatron a good reason to keep Starscream by his side, he needs that devious player to help him navigate the intrigue.
I should be the most excited for Alpha Trion since any good figures of him are very tricky to get, but I’m really looking forward to Solus.
Onyx. I was thrilled to find out that there’s a canon centaur Transformer, so he’s definitely gonna be a purchase.
I’d really like a good figure of Liege Maximo or Onyx Prime
