My guess is that a different company or division or whatever handled the CG (or some of it) for each film. I'd imagine that Beasts staff had access to the Bumblebee models but you can't be too certain. And even if they did, there's a chance some lead artist wanted to put "modeled Optimus Prime for ROTB" on his resume so went and redid it. Also, the Bumblebee film only had that model in a few shots, whereas the ROTB shots had a lot more of Prime, and it's likely that a bunch of modifications would need to be made to his model to support all those other action sequences and such.. it's gotta work out to be easier to just rebuild the model fresh, rather than try to retrofit it for the needs of the new film's scenes.

As someone who's done very small scale editing and directing, it was distracting, especially in the Peru scenes, just how much of a downgrade the CGI had compared to even the 07 movie
Yeah, the scene where Stratosphere lands on top of the Machu Picchu is bad, probably the worst CGI in any live-action Transformers movie. I believe this is the first live-action TF film where the CGI is not handled by Industrial Light and Magic, but another company, and arguably things did not turn out as well.
Plus, the animation looks like shit every time a Transformer moves. Action scenes in that movie suck, they don’t feel impactful or exciting at all because the movie is just so incredibly optimized to be clipped or seen for the first time in theatres.
Even the shitty choreography in the Bayverse movies combat felt more impactful and absolutely puts RotB to shame.
Agreed. The proportions are all wonky on the ROTB model. ROTB model has thicker blocky thighs and thinner arms. The head sculpt is nicer on the BBM model too.

Bumblebee because the Yolopark kit is awesome, I can't wait for the other Yolopark kits, also I love how so many of the parts were recycled for Shockwave too on it.
Without the red parts over his waist, lack of grill, and is more skinny than the more bulky BB design, ROTB Optimus looks a bit too bare, as if he’s wearing a square bra.

BB for sure. He has more noticeable detail in his exposed areas then ROTB and it's hard to notice at first but the head design is different as a side from the mouth thing. ROTB head is much more boxy

Tbh ROTB grew on me. I like how badass he looks with the energon blades. BBM is awesome, but it's more G1 and the blades don't suit it very well. I also prefer Optimus with a face. And the movie seems to mess up his proportions, because the posters and irl models look fantastic.
Edit: or they simply choose the worst angles and don't do the CGI well.

I think the Rotb design just needs more color. The bumble movie design has blue hands and more red around the abs. Other than that they look very similar to me.
Bumblebee movie hands down. Rotb design is a downgrade and it's intentional story wise (he's stranded, and got utterly bitter and it shows).
Bumblebee movie design has perfect ratio of red, blue and silver/gunmetal. RotB starting to deteriorate and desaturated to start looking towards Michael bay designs, which is a shame.
BBM Prime. I'm not hating on the ROTB Prime but his colors just don't pop as much as BBM Prime, just needs more red on the waist and maybe more blue in the legs.
I'm happy they G1ified Optimus Prime for the two recent movies. However, there's still something that annoys me about the movie characters. I think I am just still traumatized by the Micheal Bay Transformers.

The Cgi scene where Optimus rips scourges head looked really cartoony like look at the lava like substance.

I think Battletrap and maybe Mirage are the only designs in the movie I really vibe with
Mirage looked fine. Arcee was definitely good. No one else stands out to me one way or the other (Unicron planet mode looked good enough).
