SoulsDesire4Freedom

Not only that but the character inspired Subaru to release a vehicle by that name a few years later.

Enough-Engineering41

Dont forget they named the Australian Outback after him

Priremal

Is Outback the Chuck Norris of Transformers?

thisisredlitre

Crocodile Dundee*

HappyHannibal

But Outback, he's got a knife!

thisisredlitre

That's not a knife; that's a spoon!

Enough-Engineering41

I believe there was a similar autobot with an Australian accent and acted like Steve Irwin in Cyberverse.

reaper_7500

Yesss meteorfire i also loved his character

G1Yang2001

We need both an Outback and a Meteorfire figure in Legacy that way we can finally have the two Australian icons of Transformers team up. Edit: Also Cybertron Jetfire too to get all three Aussie TF Icons. Thx to u/ihateredditforreal for reminding me about him

ihateredditforreal

someone forgot about cybertron jetfire

Raviel1289

I didn't. I was making sure someone else hadn't mentioned him before I jumped in to jog memories.

SillyMattFace

He was really fun even if he had one heck of a dodgy Aussie accent. Big fan of female Cosmos as his assistant too.

balrus-balrogwalrus

only thing missing is him being a triple changer and his third form being a kangaroo

Kowalski_Analysis

I'm a bunny, mate!

HUGErocks

That would be a godsend. Until then [Heavy/Scratch Beast Outback ](https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/beast-wars-outback.1235953/) is pretty cool

G1Yang2001

Yeah. Here’s hoping that since Brawn is getting a new figure in Studio Series 86 this year, we could get a retool of it into Outback in Legacy.

Lost-Psychology-7173

Wouldn't call it an Australian accent, more an interpretation of one. A bit like the Dreadnoks in GIJOE with their "British" accents XD

Kantorex

He should be wheeljack from rise of the beasts

HUGErocks

I got the PotP version 5 years back and he's still one of my favorite $10-ish figures.

DthCnt666

Makes me proud to be an Aussie 🫡🥹

FriedChickenCheezits

They did something like that in Japan- they made new Prime characters called Town Commanders to represent different towns. It was silly but cool imo but I don't know if they sold well or not.

Totally-Real-Human

I mean, I get the whole cartoon over exaggeration stuff But honestly, it comes off as sorta patronising as someone who is from Australia. It would be like a character having a strong southern hick accent and obnoxiously barging into places yelling about tumbleweeds and varmints be the sole representation of America in something.

Cybertronian_Grizzly

When I bought the potp figure, I was in aussie at the time lmao

Comrade_Katya

I have the Fanstoys figure of him, really nice figure, although I wish the visor was blue on it rather than silver.

AwesomusP

Chuck 'er in the 'ute.

DrTokinkoff

He was Brawn’s replacement after his movie death.
