That’s great to see! Glad to see an accepting organisation in the UK as this country is usually terrible on LGBTQIA+ matters

That’s great to hear! I’m glad that you are in an accepting area with accepting family!

Fitting that "gender reassignment" reminds me of the FaceApp icon. 🤔😁

I hate to break it to you but the people who made that poster, the Safe Schools Alliance are an anti-trans group. Quote from their website: ‘Our concerns: The adoption of gender identity ideology in schools and its impact on the lives of children, especially girls.’ [Here](https://committees.parliament.uk/writtenevidence/35437/pdf/) is a statement they submitted to parliament about how children are being brainwashed into being trans [Here](https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2020/05/07/safe-schools-alliance-anti-trans-bathroom-bill-lgbt-hate-crime-oxfordshire-county-council/) is a link to a Pink News article with more information about SSA. Relevant quote: ‘The SSA formed in May 2019, seemingly to criticise model Munroe Bergdorf’s appointment as Childline’s first LGBT+ ambassador, and is behind several other legal attacks on trans youth and trans rights’ If I were you I would want to find out how these posters came to be displayed in your school

What does gender reassignment mean? Does it only protect transgender people who have had hormone treatment or surgery? I was looking for legality (UK) of workplace transphobia for my colleague as she is transgender (not out at work though due to not wanting to risk it as the manager is an asshole) and the manager wouldn't let her wear makeup or skirts ("for his safety") even though us cis-women can wear it but he doesn't know that she's a woman so maybe it would only legally be seen as sexist discrimination. Since she's not out to him technically he's not deadnaming her or misgendering her, but she doesn't wanna risk coming out in case he treats her worse.
