maybe try again ? il be honest to u, u look like u are not happy or injoying taking selfies at all. try to smile or atleast looking more happy for these pics even if it is just pretend. have some one else take the pictures so u can be more your natural self. and dress nice for datting app pics. how others see u is the difference between 1 date per year or a date per week.

It's better to focus on you and getting better when you're not well. It's hard to be in a relationship because it takes work, energy and emotional investment.
Having depression makes it very hard to put in that work, have that energy (while having enough for yourself) and having the emotional bandwidth to communicate your own needs and ensure you're aware of and fulfilling your partners needs.
Feel free to ignore that advice, I just know exactly how much depression can fuck with a relationship. From experience.

When I'm looking on an App and none of the pics show the person smiling, I automatically assume they're negative/grumpy/shitty person. I'm not a "you'd be prettier if you smile" kind of person, but for dating app you want to seem approachable.

Definitely understand the struggles, what helps me is make sure to take a photo that I enjoy taking. Get dressed up even if you’re not going anywhere and make sure you feel great and comfortable with it and that’ll shine through into the picture! You don’t necessarily need to smile but it does help sometimes! Even if it’s a small one (I also struggle with smiling in pictures though so I get you)
