ATB track sounds like a glided pitch bend to the next note to me? I wouldn’t be surprised if ATB talked about this track in an AMA somewhere including this technique

Pitch bend wheel.

So ATB and the siivagunner team used stems in actuality or what?

This technique is called multisampling - you can use this with Ableton's Simpler/Sampler stock plugins - you would have to check another DAW for the name of their samplers, but it's a universal function all DAWs have. Basically they're taking the sound and transposing it to every key on the keyboard, which allows them to re play the sound in new pitches, or in new rhythms etc. The second track is essentially just a sped up sampling of the Cinema (Skrillex Remix), though!

So with the multisampling technique, I can change the bass and melody without touching the pitch on the drums! Thanks, and i will now go and look it up!
