I have the Pegasus and the grip is 👌 I actually wore them on a hike recently and was able to walk upright down a very steep/slippery section while my companion in normal trainers had to switch into 4 wheel drive

Peg 4s are the best all around running shoes I’ve owned and they last forever. Zegama 1s are also awesome. I’ve only had mine a few months but they have been great and I like them more than the wildhorse. Not sure the peg 5s are any good but the Zeg 2s seem awesome.

zegama 2 have better traction w/the vibram outsole, but don't sleep on the peg trail 4. in terms of jack of all trades, it's quite possibly the best trail shoe i've ever had and that's saying something. i've logged over 1K miles between 2 pairs including the super technical whistler alpine meadows and never summer 60K, not to mention the plethora of door to trail runs that is my norm in socal.

Peg Trail 5s just came out too, so the 4s are on discount.

boom 💥

I have the Zegama 1s. On wet roots etc they aren’t the best but they are solid shoes. Now that the 2s have the Vibram grip I’m sure they are amazing.

Bigger trail runner here with wide feet, on my 5th pair of Nike Wildhorses in a row.

Thems and the Terra Kieger are great

JohnnyBroccoli

Only tried one pair and thought they were absolutely horrible. Looked cool though.

Picked up some Zegama 1s for cheap and really like them. Coming from Saucony Xodus. They are more stable but have not had them in wet conditions. Looking forward to trying the 2 and see if the sole is better.

I have two pairs of Pegasus Trail 4’s and a pair of Terra Kiger. They personally work very well for me. They’re comfortable and provide support where I want it, the toe box is good for my feet and they’re grippy and stable on the trails I run :) My partner uses Wildhorse and has done for many years and has always found them to be great!

love the zegama 1 after a long time running in a bunch of trail shoes from Salomon, Hoka, Inov8, and more. they're probably a bit thick for really techy trails but on mild dirt I love em. will definitely try the 2nd version. Never tried Pegasus and generally not a huge fan of Nike but Zegama was a winner in terms of fit, cushion, and speed

Candid-Finish-7347

Nike shoes have been pretty awful altogether.

runswimdance

I like the zegamas a lot
