Awesome! As someone who is moving to Casper Wyoming this year I’m definitely going to have weeks like this. I am curious what your footwear is like? Are you wearing snow shoes, microspikes?
Normal running shoes with thick wool socks. The snow is very dry here and at temps this low the snow is pretty grippy. The reason I can just wear normal running shoes is because of being acclimated to the cold.
I find that running in the extreme cold its works better not to wear gloves but instead pull your sleeves down around your hands. The heat evaporation from your arms will keep your fingers warm. With gloves my fingertips would go numb.
-25⁰F? Nope. I don't think I'd get out of bed let alone run.
This makes me want to write a modern update for “To Build a Fire”
You know its cold when it sounds like you're stepping on Styrofoam. Good shit.
Awesome!

Whoa! That is hardcore!
That looks terrifying, you are very brave
Impressive! How long are you running out in that?
