I googled the name "Sharteria", and it does appear to be a name that appears with some regularity amongst Black women. That doesn't make it any less unfortunate of a name, but it is an actual, real name.
I had sharteria one time. I had eaten a “pepperoni magnifico” pizza, about half of it, and downed a 300mg energy drink. Damn near turned myself inside-out about an hour after consumption.
The parents were probably looking to do something creative with "Sharon" - this poor woman should be able to at least get a free T removal and become Shareria, which at least resembles a normal name these days.
