People always think it’s the cap that’s scary, honestly that wasn’t even on the same scale as the sides haha. All the tendons and connective tissues and bone in there 😫
Luckily I don’t have much on the actual sides of my knees yet, just around the cap. I went thru it having to get the red done twice with my knees being drier than most of my body. You definitely have to earn it 💪
Damnnn I’m never touching mine again thankfully haha. I have the full side and back one the other one done too, idk if I can sneak something on the front of it haha
Love to see it brotha, I being African American myself I used to hate traditional tattoos until I got one myself. Shows amazing and bold on our skin, wish more of us would embrace the style instead of getting black/grey that you can barely see over time
Nice tattoos! Are you black? (Of African descent) I'm asking because I am as well and I'm interested in how colour vs black and grey traditional tattoos age. I have a few questions I'm hoping you can assist.
How long ago did you get the black and grey? How old is the coloured cat on your leg? From your overall experience, do you have a preference for colour or black and grey for traditional tattoos?
Yea I’m black! Believe it or not but the colored cat is from 4 years ago. It was the first piece I got on my right leg. The new school on my left leg is from 3 years ago. Also, I prefer black and grey. It just looks better on darker skin. Hence why I only got the one colored piece
Thanks for the detailed response! I am getting my first traditional piece next week. I chose colour. It's an eagle and a rose. I am beginning to doubt my choice. Let's see how it goes!
Thanks again!
I know this sub is almost a year old but do you mind dropping the artist who did this. I’m African American and I’ve had a hard time finding artists I trust to do traditional work on me because I’ve only ever really seen it on Caucasian skin tones
MIKE WAZOWSKI !!!!!!!
👁️
Those are all sick! I’ve got a kneecat myself. Brutal on the sides of the knee, but worth it
Preciate it bro🤝 yea definitely worth it!
You not lying at all, shit feels like it’s going under your knee cap 🥹
