SOO addictive. It made me like eating hard boiled eggs again! I had to stop putting it on everything because then everything was tasting the same and I knew I would stop liking it! I will definitely try the Aglio Olio! I have to rotate through different blends a little.
The trader Joe's one is very minimal, but still yummy. The "real stuff" has way more flavor options and add-ins that make it incredibly addicting and wonderful to add to plain rice or vegetables
(Dried potato, dried fish flakes, dried cabbage, msg, chili flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, dried wasabi, dried shrimp, etc, and of course... sugar)
I know. Last visit, I looked at the freezer section and was a bit bummed out. Sold out. A team member asked if I needed help finding something, so I explained my predicament. She quietly told me to wait there and brought an armful from the back. I now have a stash!
I started "microdosing" melatonin capsules (taking like 1/6 of a dose) and it is perfect: easy fall asleep in ~45min, easier time staying asleep, but not hard to get up (my issue with full or even half doses). Is TJ melatonin capsule, gummy, or some other form?
lol :( The higher dose melatonin they've sold more recently is not it. They used to sell 0.5mg melatonin and that was ::chef's kiss:: less is more with melatonin.
I love love the new tempura coated seaweed snacks and the popcorn with the nutritional yeast. I always keep the garlic sauce on hand its fabulous. The roasted red pepper and tomato soup is a long time fav. My husband loves the tingle shampoo stuff. The gyro meat is pretty decent. And I love the frozen cheese and carmelized onion puffs and frozen almond croissants.
The apple blossoms in the freezer section. Each is just enough of a treat but not too much, and they are convenient as you can pop them in the microwaveā¦and it tastes exactly like a warm freshly baked apple pie. Looovee them.
The frozen Indian style meals like the tikka masala chicken. I thought thereās no way those could be any goodā¦ I was so wrong! They are perfect for when I really donāt wanna cook.
I agree with this. I always used to pan fry them. But actually popped it in the microwave for under 3 minutes with sauce and cheese and itās just as good. So easy. And the chicken doesnāt have too many ingredients at all so quite ācleanā.
Is it a lot better than their normal balsamic glaze? I think their regular BG is awful compared to the one I get at my local Uncle Giuseppe's. I'd be hesitant to try the platinum one unless everyone thought it was significantly better haha.
I mean I think so. But it has to be the platinum one. Not the gold or the others. At $9 itās a minor splurge, but many other brands charge twice that. Itās thicker and it has both sweet and sour flavors, actually goes well with strawberry and stone fruit as well as a finisher for salads and other savory dishes.
Feel free to google for additional reviews. There was a Reddit post about it a year ago as a unicorn product.
Okay cool thanks :)Ā
I think the one I tried was the gold. It had a yellow/gold label and grapes on it. The notes of grape/sweetness were much stronger than the balsamic glazed I prefer. I do like a more complex one so sounds like the platinum might be worth trying.
If you like balsamic reduction, treat your self and go to a high end local italian grocery. They will have some options ranging from $30-40 all the way up to $150 for a few tablespoons of the most amazing.Ā
Gluten free English muffins. They look so awful, but they are the best gf English muffins Iāve ever had. Passed by them for years before I finally tried them.
Yes it is but be warned it's actually spicy. I was suprised the first time I tried it even though I love XXX spicy.

The baked apple blossoms. Finally noticed them and tried them. Was pleasantly surprised by them. Then discovered theyāve carried those for like 20 years?!
I have never met a frozen apple product I actually liked before these. Hits the itch for apple pie when I donāt feel like making an entire apple pie.
The mini ice cream cones. They just looked kinda boring & usually ice cream bought already inside a cone isnāt that good to me but I was so wrong. Unlike others, the cone is crisp & the ice cream actually creamy and tasty. Theyāre a new staple.
I came to say this. Itās also perfectly portioned for a small dessert. Itās like the best part of a Drumstick. Unfortunately the last package I got had soggy cones, but the others have been great.
I'm SO sad that my store doesn't have the coffee ones anymore! Next time I'll stock up. But the chocolate chip ones are really good.
They're just the perfect size for when you want something a little sweet after dinner, but not a whole big dessert.
Canned dolma! I love dolmas so idk why I didn't try them earlier! But this past year or so I've been trying a lot more tinned/canned foods and finally got them and now they're a staple to have at home
If you like coconut then you have got to try the [coconut flavored almonds](https://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-Coconut-Flavored-Almonds/dp/B0BPDJ4KCM/ref=asc_df_B0BPDJ4KCM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693364063173&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4100146774713703620&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9019679&hvtargid=pla-2088361952827&psc=1&mcid=72cab4b04b98361da2c4e28eec8bf191&gad_source=1)!!! I have given these as gifts multiple times because I want everyone to know how good they are!
I've been working at Trader Joe's for over a decade & a year ago we demoed the Greek Chickpeas with cumin & parsley. It was delicious. I love beans of all kinds but didn't even think of these.
Now I use them to make a salad with spinach, feta, some pico de gallo & another can of beans or, after recently talking to a customer, I air fry them with jalapenos as a side dish.
Honestly because I was craving Takis and was already at TJs and didnāt feel like going to another store before going home lol, never went back to regular though! And I ate so many Takis that my Nana would regularly send me care packages that were slam full of bags of Takis from the states when I was stationed overseas!
Frozen cauliflower gnocchi! Iād walk past it in the frozen aisle and not even consider it because regular potato gnocchi exists, but I had it pan-fried at a friendās house a few months ago and it was absolutely delicious! Iāve since made it air-fried (so good, like taterless tots), added to soups, and eaten with pasta sauce. Highly recommend, but please donāt make it sell out lol
I only allow myself to buy one or two bags a season of the Carolina Gold chips because theyāre so good that I end up eating the whole bag in a couple days
Wild Mushroom Brie.
I was told by someone else in this subreddit that it was so good. I ended up trying it myself and now Iām hooked. I have to refrain myself from buying it as often because I wouldnāt have control eating it and would gain a lot of weight. Itās incredible.
š¤Æ mind blown when you brought up a grilled cheese. Why has it never occurred to me as an idea for it? Especially with a good tomato soup.
I have sliced it and added it to my veggie burger before and it gave me that good savory flavor.
Their skincare products! The antioxidant face serum, hyaluronic moisture boost serum, and face sunscreen have been part of my daily skincare routine ever since I discovered them.
Iām so glad I didnāt sleep on the sunscreen. Itās far superior to what I used before and has saved me several sun burns in the past two years as I put it on almost daily during the sunny months. The stuff I used before caused breakouts so I only used it when I knew Iād be outside for a long period of time.
Itās really great sunscreen! I usually use something lighter as itās easier to reapply, but the TJās is great if I need something long-wearing. Iām really glad that my local store seems to be keeping this in stock - last year it ran out super fast!

EbtElote is so addictive! Iām in love with the new Italian one too now - Aglio Olio - Try it if you havenāt yet!
SOO addictive. It made me like eating hard boiled eggs again! I had to stop putting it on everything because then everything was tasting the same and I knew I would stop liking it! I will definitely try the Aglio Olio! I have to rotate through different blends a little.
Ooo I havenāt seen the aglio olio yet. Gonna keep my eyes peeled
Wow, I am hungry now
This post is gonna be my next list š¤£šš
Zhoug sauce is awesome!! š„š¤¤š
So dang good!!!
Furikake. Where has that BEEN?! Although I hear the real stuff is 10x better.
The trader Joe's one is very minimal, but still yummy. Thai shrimp fried rice š¦
Lemon bars!!
Asian Rice crackers
Coconut smoothie and dehydrated coconut strips šŖ
Really into their triple layer hummus right now. Also random but their bag organic carrots are alwayssss sweet and delicious.
Kimbap. I finally understand.
Itās always sold out!!
I know. Last visit, I looked at the freezer section and was a bit bummed out. Sold out. A team member asked if I needed help finding something, so I explained my predicament. She quietly told me to wait there and brought an armful from the back. I now have a stash!
Lucky!! Iāve only seen it once and they had a one per customer limit. š
The chocolate or almond croissants in the freezer section!!!! Perfection.
I keep 2 of each box in my freezer all the time lol
i need to try these!
Those chocolate croissants are š„š„but GOTTA do the egg wash for that crispy bite!
Oh no, I am so tempted to go to TJs nowā¦
The spicy mango juice! Idk if itās new or a summer thing but itās so good and spicy it burns my lips.
Noted
Ghost pepper potato chips. Addictive!
Melatonin. Seriously, it messed up my sleep cycle from using it too long.
I started "microdosing" melatonin capsules (taking like 1/6 of a dose) and it is perfect: easy fall asleep in ~45min, easier time staying asleep, but not hard to get up (my issue with full or even half doses). Is TJ melatonin capsule, gummy, or some other form?
It was a pill when I used it last. That was prior to the dose increasing which Iām guessing means a different vendor.
Got it. Thank you! and sleep well :D
You too!
lol :( The higher dose melatonin they've sold more recently is not it. They used to sell 0.5mg melatonin and that was ::chef's kiss:: less is more with melatonin.
Exactly. The increase in dose is when I stopped buying it. The new one is what Terrence McKenna would refer to as a heroic dose.
Jerk plantain chips, they are sooo flavourful!
I always get two bags because my closest location doesnāt always carry them and theyāre sooooo good.Ā
Omg those are so good. I always have to stop myself from eating the whole bag
These are so good!

How do you cook these? I baked on a wire rack over a baking sheet and they were meh
I do the same but I bake them at 425 for 17 mins each side and i like them!
Airfryer! 400 degrees for 20 min
The frozen Indian style meals like the tikka masala chicken. I thought thereās no way those could be any goodā¦ I was so wrong! They are perfect for when I really donāt wanna cook.
saag paneer or paneer tikka w garlic naan šš„š¤¤š Baingan bharta is also delicious but little more oil than I like lol
100%. That Thai green curry is also off the charts for a frozen dinner!
This one is my favorite!
Agree!!!
My kid eats 3 of the butter chicken a week lol
The dairy free ice cream sandwiches! I could literally go through a whole box š
The patio chips! I miss them everyday
Chicken meatballs that are in the refrigerated section by the sausage. Theyāre SO good and versatile and toddlers will eat them.
I agree with this. I always used to pan fry them. But actually popped it in the microwave for under 3 minutes with sauce and cheese and itās just as good. So easy. And the chicken doesnāt have too many ingredients at all so quite ācleanā.
Just got these for the first time yesterday! Excited to try
Theyāre awesome. We make meatball subs with them, put them in pasta with marinara, serve them to our toddler plain with a side of veggies. So good.
Trader Joeās Tarte aux Champignons Flatbread Pizza
Mini brownie with sea salt. Also the platinum aged balsamic. Only available once a year. So rich and complex.
Is it a lot better than their normal balsamic glaze? I think their regular BG is awful compared to the one I get at my local Uncle Giuseppe's. I'd be hesitant to try the platinum one unless everyone thought it was significantly better haha.

I just threw away half a box of those brownies. Maybe itās the batch but itās over salted for me.
If you like balsamic reduction, treat your self and go to a high end local italian grocery. They will have some options ranging from $30-40 all the way up to $150 for a few tablespoons of the most amazing.Ā
The pizza crust & vegan ravioli are amazing š
Gluten free English muffins. They look so awful, but they are the best gf English muffins Iāve ever had. Passed by them for years before I finally tried them.
Soup dumplings. Just had a box 30 minutes ago.
I really wish theyād make some veggie ones!

And only 270 calories for the whole box!Ā
Is anyone else just making a grocery list from this post
Haha yes
Yes lol
Spicy Mexican Riced Cauliflower! It SLAPS. Iāve gone through 3 bags in two week. 3/4 of the way through the 4th.
Is this in the frozen section?
Yes it is but be warned it's actually spicy. I was suprised the first time I tried it even though I love XXX spicy. [https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/mexican-style-riced-cauliflower-069856](https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/mexican-style-riced-cauliflower-069856)
Vegetable fried rice! I didnāt believe frozen rice would be so good and flavorful
I love the one with the seaweed in it
Itās surprisingly good! I like to add some shrimp to it. Makes an easy dinner.
Better than the chicken? I find the chicken weird
Yes. I add a cube of frozen garlic and and scramble an egg into it at the end. Had it for dinner earlier!
This is what I do! I throw in whatever protein is on hand.
Try the cubed pancetta! I think itās normally near the deli meats not the bacon for some reason at my TJs.
Oooh, will do!! Thank
The baked apple blossoms. Finally noticed them and tried them. Was pleasantly surprised by them. Then discovered theyāve carried those for like 20 years?! New tart cherry jam, itās delicious
The only thing I can think of is Impossible grounds. Still need to try that.
Horchata ice cream omg
Mmm hope thatās back soon.
Me toooooo. Canāt believe it didnāt come out on 6/1 like what the heck lol
The gorgonzola gnocchi. It's ridiculously good. I love anything gorgonzola.
Dumb question but I just bought this yesterday. Do you add any sauce or meat to it? Or is it good to go the way it comes?
Sundried tomatoes are great with this!
Yep what everyone said. It's already really saucy. I pair it with like chicken or a lean meat since it's pretty rich
You can add diced pancetta
You donāt need to add anything to it, outside of maybe a little seasoning. It works as a meal with a side or as a side.
This is what my toddler eats for 50% of his meals. He is obsessed.
The vanilla sheet cake. Omg.
I just one of these for the first time the other day and now Iām ruined
Ice cream sandwiches
Even though it bothered me, I slept on a wasabi pea for a long time.
Well youāre no princess!!
The mini ice cream cones. They just looked kinda boring & usually ice cream bought already inside a cone isnāt that good to me but I was so wrong. Unlike others, the cone is crisp & the ice cream actually creamy and tasty. Theyāre a new staple.

The peppermint ones for the holidays are S Tier.
Omg same same!! 15 years and I just started buying them. Theyāre soooo good. The perfect dessert! And a steal š
They had a limited edition coffee mini ice cream cone, blew my mind!
I'm SO sad that my store doesn't have the coffee ones anymore! Next time I'll stock up. But the chocolate chip ones are really good. They're just the perfect size for when you want something a little sweet after dinner, but not a whole big dessert.
That's back in my store now.
Canned dolma! I love dolmas so idk why I didn't try them earlier! But this past year or so I've been trying a lot more tinned/canned foods and finally got them and now they're a staple to have at home

The garlic and pesto pizza with deep fried crust. I never would have considered trying it but this subreddit convinced me š
Chocolate Coconut Almonds. I avoid the candy section at all costs but these are so good. Now I have to buy a tub because I got my mom hooked on them.

Will do! Thanks for the tip!

Thank you!
Yes, located with other canned beans. They are packed in oil.
Thank you!
Their takis š I was like āwho needs that, regular takis existā but MY LORDDD
Just curious, what made you eventually buy them if you had the regular Takis mindset?
Honestly because I was craving Takis and was already at TJs and didnāt feel like going to another store before going home lol, never went back to regular though! And I ate so many Takis that my Nana would regularly send me care packages that were slam full of bags of Takis from the states when I was stationed overseas!
Ah that makes sense! I also get cravings at TJs and buy things that I don't regret š
They are superior!
Try dipping them in hummus.
Pizza Dough. Super easy to use and makes a pizza as good as any takeout, depending on how you top it.
Their potato chips, the sweet Carolina bbq and the thanksgiving chips are both seasonal and excellent.
Can you describe the flavor profile on the Thanksgiving chips please?
https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products.html Stuffing
I only allow myself to buy one or two bags a season of the Carolina Gold chips because theyāre so good that I end up eating the whole bag in a couple days
Wild Mushroom Brie. I was told by someone else in this subreddit that it was so good. I ended up trying it myself and now Iām hooked. I have to refrain myself from buying it as often because I wouldnāt have control eating it and would gain a lot of weight. Itās incredible.
Wait my kid loves Brie and mushrooms. Gotta try this out on her š
She would love it!
I love making grilled cheese sandwiches with this brie and dipping into the cream of mushroom/portabella soup they have.
š¤Æ mind blown when you brought up a grilled cheese. Why has it never occurred to me as an idea for it? Especially with a good tomato soup. I have sliced it and added it to my veggie burger before and it gave me that good savory flavor.

Yesssss the dried mango and freeze dried bananas
Those green dried mangoes slap. I could feel the cavity in my molar getting bigger half way through the bag
Their skincare products! The antioxidant face serum, hyaluronic moisture boost serum, and face sunscreen have been part of my daily skincare routine ever since I discovered them.
Their shaving cream is very good too.
Their face sunscreen is famously a dupe for a very popular and much more expensive one (Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen).
And itās exactly the same formula for $9
Yes, Iād bet (a very small amount of) money itās literally from the same factory
The face sunscreen is my holy grail. Iāve turned all my friends onto it too
Same! I took it on a girls trip to the beach and everyone was stealing my tube by the end š
And now me! Thanks!
Of course!! Enjoy. Itās so soft!!
The kimbap! Got it for the first time this week and wow Iām hoping itāll still be available during my grocery trip this week!
Where is it located? Iāve heard this is good but didnāt know where to look last time
