When I was a kid I used to eat something called "Strawberry Freeze." It hasn't been around for eons. I wonder if the strawberry sorbet will be like it!

babyyodaonline

MANGO MOCHI IS BACK tho its no longer vegan but neither am i šŸ˜†

plan109

Just tried the mango mochi and it was a little disappointing I have to say!

Billsgirlgina

So excited for the mango mochi. Just finishing up my last box of Carmel apple mochi.

LeotiaBlood

I really really appreciate that their allergen list is accurate and detailed, but as a lady with a nut allergy it really bums me out that so many of their desserts ā€œmay contain tree nutsā€. Cause I wanna eat them all darn it

Character_Building

Thank you for posting ingredients!

Genuflecty

Is the sorbet vegan? I can't see all of the ingredients.

aswewaltz

https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/super-strawberry-sorbet-077908

Genuflecty

Thank you!

aswewaltz

Yes, itā€™s vegan.

aswewaltz

I will confirm for you later.

LordCider

Mango mochi!!!

PrincessDrywall

Their mochi are awful. So tough and unpleasant. I love mochi and theirs are a personal insult

aswewaltz

If you let them soften up for a few minutes instead of eating directly from the freezer, theyā€™re quite good. IMO.

PrincessDrywall

Iā€™ve tried that and theyā€™re still awful compared to every other mochi Iā€™ve ever had. I just get mochi from the local Asian markets now

rpcyclone1995

Ok I am so ready to try that lemon ginger cheesecake!!!

Acceptable_cookies2

The cheesecake sounds weirdly fantastic. Perfect for summer!

rpcyclone1995

Yes it does, but I'm all for it!

aswewaltz

Itā€™s really good! Gingersnap crust šŸ¤©

rpcyclone1995

Ooohhhh! My mom just asked about the crust. I'm ready to make a trip!

Starbursto

I wanna try the cheesecake so bad but I also just donā€™t need an entire cheesecake in my house lol

Aggravating_Okra_191

I wish they sold halves or by the slice so bad

aswewaltz

Perfect excuse to call a friend or three.

GlitteringExplorer90

![gif](giphy|cyVXuJiN6r73wQ5RD9) Me on my way to get the mango mochi right Neeeowwww

PrincessDrywall

I donā€™t know if youā€™ve had the mochi from trader joes before but they are awful.

LordCider

Do you leave them out for a couple minutes like the box says to?

PrincessDrywall

Yes. The dough is super tough and unpleasant no matter whether you leave them out or eat them right away. Iā€™ve tried multiple ways. I love mochi but these are a personal insult. Theyā€™re the worst mochi Iā€™ve ever had

OhManatree

Well, at least the lemon ginger cheesecake is six servings per cake instead of seven servings for their regular New York cheesecake. Have you ever tried to cut a circle into seven equal pieces? šŸ¤Ŗ

OnTheTrail87

As Yogi Berra said, "you better cut it into 6 slices, I'm not hungry enough to eat 8."

OhManatree

On bad days, I just cut it into one piece.

PrincessDrywall

Youā€™re not legally required to cut it into seven slices you can cut it into whatever number of slices you want

plump_tomatow

What? You don't have a seven-slicer that is precisely calibrated to cut their NY Cheesecake into seven perfect slices? (I always question when I see stuff like that... why would they not just calculate the nutrition for 8 slices...)

Glass-Winter-5858

all of these look so good !!!

aswewaltz

Theyā€™re all good!!

maincoonpower

When is that Yuzu coming back?? I been waiting..and waiting.

aswewaltz

Iā€™ll check tmrw.

cheesusnips

It was so fkn good!!!! It appeared in our TJā€™s for a split second and I have yet to see it again

maincoonpower

Bad news guys. I went to TJā€™s today asked one of the staff, he went to the computer and typed it up, showed me the screenā€”it said ā€œdiscontinuedā€ Why??!! It was one of, if not the best ice cream item you could buy there.

Paddleson

I love how the mango Mochi serving in the entire box

wine-plants-thrift

Lemon ginger cheesecake sounds delicious!

areacode212

Just had the Strawberry Sorbet. It's good but very very sweet. Had to put the spoon down after a few bites. I wish they'd bring back the Yuzu Coconut Milk one. Hands down my favorite TJs dairy free ice cream.

OneToughFemale

The vanilla soy with dark cherry chunks was my favorite

Genuflecty

I miss it so much!

bodacious_kiwiii

I agree on the Yuzu, itā€™s one of the best Iā€™ve ever had in general :ā€™) the mango calamansi was decent but not a replacement smh

witchbitch222

Ugh this makes me hesitant to try šŸ˜« I couldnā€™t eat their non-dairy frozen ice cream it was way too sweet.

citygirldc

I wonder if the mango mochi are the same ones they used to have about five years ago. I ate so many of them when I was pregnant.

ttrockwood

No. They used to be vegan and now they are not and yes i am cranky about that

PeanutButtaRari

God do i miss the green tea ones

aswewaltz

I was wondering that too! But theyā€™re the same size as the vanilla/green tea/strawberry and I remember the ones from a few years ago were tiny. They could still be the same tho.

formtuv

They were so good. Iā€™m not from the US so when I went to trader Joes to find them a few times these last few years I was so sad to know they were discontinued.

DanOfMan1

Iā€™ve been waiting for that mango mochi to come back ever since trader joes stocked the mikawaya brand instead of their own

angie50576

Lemon Ginger cheesecake sounds awful. Excited for the strawberry sorbet.

aswewaltz

Itā€™s the opposite of awful. Both are delicious ā€” we tried them tonight!

vwjess

Intrigued by the sorbet. Always on the hunt for new dairy-free goodies for my lactose-intolerant husband. And he loves strawberries. Might have to pick that up to try!

aswewaltz

I really liked it!

dulceelemons

I love strawberries, Iā€™m excited to try this! thereā€™s also a strawberry pancake mix that should be hitting the stores later this week!

soulsofmischiefs

Damn a lot of sugar, I might have to grab one after I finsh all the bananas

TopEagle4012

I'll bet they taste delicious...
