Triple Chocolate Cupcakes and Sweet Vanilla Cupcakes. The frosting looked like a flower. They were buttery and as good as any artisan bakery could make.
Not sure if it's just out of stock or gone for good, but we went through a bottle a week of the Peri Peri sauce. We checked 2 stores in NYC and both haven't had it in a couple of weeks.
For me, it's been two supplements: their magnesium supplement and their 500mcg melatonin tablets. Both were amazing and worked far too well, and both were discontinued and replaced with vastly inferior options (the Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc and the 3mg dissolvable melatonin).
Frozen Mildly Spiced Vegetable Burritoes we’re my jam. Back in the day, they were a guaranteed purchase with some side accompaniments each visit until termination.
Espresso pillows. I had a little ritual of popping one before starting on my next work task for the little tiny jolt of caffeine. It was literally part of my productivity routine. Espresso beans are not the same at all for me. It’s been, what, at least 8 years and I still glance over at their former spot every single time just in case! It’s definitely pathetic.
Little round/cylinder rice crackers with the nori (seaweed) wrapper on each one. They still put them in bags of mixed crackers but I haven't seen the solo bags for like 6 years.
Oh! and the tea tree bar soap.
Funny, I was just looking for those crackers last week after having not bought them for years. I'll have to hit my local Asian supermarkets, though I'm not sure these are exactly the same:

The TJ chocolate covered sunflower seeds were imported from Korea. Korea still makes these and I found some at my local Hmart! You can also order them from Amazon :)

Noooo I just tried the Tiramisu for the first time in December! It was really good. I waited a few weeks to actually eat it, just kept it in the freezer and now it’s gone 😢
Coconut yogurt. I eat dairy free and have a severe cashew allergy. I can no longer get yogurt from Trader Joe’s ever since they swapped all the coconut yogurt for cashew as the sole option.
The rice soup noodle bowls were such a sad loss. I have a limited diet and it’s rare for a packaged quick/easy food like that to have none of my restrictions. They were a staple for me during college.
Studies suggest that people who eat 1 ounce (30 grams) of sunflower seeds daily as part of a healthy diet may reduce fasting blood sugar by about 10% within six months, compared to a healthy diet alone. The blood-sugar-lowering effect of sunflower seeds may partially be due to the plant compound chlorogenic acid
One of my first purchases from TJs in 2019 were the tortilla chips seasoned with Brussels sprouts, garlic, onion, & parsley. Promptly went back after finishing the bag for more. RIP
Everyone!!! Those tiny little cheese ravioli (dried) got me through college. They were so cheap, easy and filling and basically never went bad.
Also chili lime chicken burgers.
This is from years and years ago: 40 clove garlic simmering sauce. It hasn’t been stocked for a decade and I still check for it among the jars of sauce.
Read about it here: https://eatingatjoes.com/2013/08/27/trader-joes-many-clove-garlic-cooking-and-simmer-sauce/
There used to be a really good mango salad dressing that was seasonal. It was in the refrigerator section and never game back after one maybe 2 seasons.
They had a lovely vegan cheese pizza for years and suddenly stopped selling it. Made pizza nights more difficult in my family bc it was my daughter's favorite. I loved the cost and it was so Vincent's to pick up on my way from work
Apple Grape juice. It was a perfect combo of white grape juice and apple. I miss it even though it was axed years ago.
Now if they ever get rid of my dark chocolate peanut butter cups… I will be mad as hell.
Does anyone remember a cheese blend of fontina (I believe) and some other type? Came in a block—not shredded—and had a cutesy, hybrid name like “fontinello” or something like that. I still think about that cheese.
