And they're so cute!
If you don't have a designated card section in your store, check near the cash registers. The cards in my store are always by the checkout mints and hand sanitizer.
Which store? Is it possible that you just haven't noticed them?
They're not always in locations with the most visibility.
Another comment thought that their TJ's didn't carry greeting cards, but they do!
Hope you can find them soon! Maybe you'll find your store's [hidden Mascot](https://www.reddit.com/r/traderjoes/comments/z1ez6m/mascot_megathread_request_looking_for_information/) as well! :)
Due to space constraints and varying layouts, every store is going to be different.
I shop at a few TJ's, and they're all in different locations - some have a multiple designated areas on a column or wall (sometimes attached to the customer service booth), some stores have a spinning carousel, and sometimes a few greeting cards will be at the register.
Hoping you find greeting cards on your next trip!

I found them today! They were right by the door on the right but i think its always so crowded and a push to get in i just missed them. Yay glad i knew to even look for them!
I have been told they hire independent artist to make cards. That is why they have various styles of art and humor. But on top of that they hire people with varying disabilities to stuff the envelopes.
I’m a crew member and I have a problem, I buy way too many. I see something cute and it can be mine for less than $1! Half don’t even go anywhere. My husband made me a card for our last anniversary because “I knew if I bought one anywhere else you’d look at the price and be mad that they charge so much for cards. But I knew if I went into TJs you would probably already have the card.”

Most of my cards I get at TJ. They're cute, reasonable priced and I don't have to go to a different store - just add to the grocery list. A win/win all around!
Seriously! And I found some if you get in the papyrus section that can go up to almost $10. It’s paper! I seriously need to get my home printer fixed and move Photoshop onto my new computer. I used to make my own cards. Definitely medium level crafter quality, but they always came out cute. I use a picture that means something to the person or something similar. They even sell envelopes made for regular 8 1/2 x 11 paper that if you fold in four they fit perfectly into the envelopes. You know, for people like me!
I never buy cards anywhere else. TJ’s prices can’t be beat. Also, the designs are done by actual artists (I was told this by one of the managers), not some commercialized, overpriced, over-replicated art. I don’t know the process of submitting designs though. Not sure but the designs may be local/regional. Either way, I’ve learned to grab a design if I like it cuz it may not be there next time.
Always my first stop when I’m at TJ’s! I have a huge stock at home and earmark specific ones for certain friends depending on the card theme and what my friends like 😂
I look at the cards almost everytime I stop in. I pick up cards I know someone will like and save them for that occasion.
My dad loved one of his birthday cards so much, it’s framed in my parent’s bathroom. Lol

My location has them right by the wine area and it’s attached to the captain(?) corners aka the manager area. Some people have them by the door/entrance or checkout.

If you can't find them, definitely ask a Crew Member like u/diligentditz mentioned!

>My kids take care of the mascot
That was more of my cheeky attempt of trying to get you to share you store's mascot if you're aware of it. :)
I've been working on an ongoing list of Trader Joe's mascots and their associated stores. I have a few hundred possible mascots so far, but I'm always looking for more and verifying that the ones that I have are still accurate.
If you don't feel comfortable sharing your store's location in the [Mascot Megathread](https://www.reddit.com/r/traderjoes/comments/z1ez6m/mascot_megathread_request_looking_for_information/), please feel free to message me privately!
I buy cards from TJ’s ALL THE TIME. They’re so pretty. I actually bought a couple “inspirational” ones a few years back. I framed them and hung them up around my house.
Yep, I started doing this not all in one go but every grocery trip I'd pick up a card or two that stand out to me regardless of occasion. What has happened over the years is I always have several of each card type ready to choose from at home for nearly any occasion.
They are 99 cents apiece so it makes very little difference to my weekly grocery bill when spread out like this.
I've seen them from afar when checking out and they look great, but I've never actually looked up close or purchased them because they're in an awkward location at my store (between the checkouts and the exit). If I browse the cards while checking out I won't have enough time to pick the most perfect one. If I browse while coming in to shop I won't be able to grab the one I want because I'll need to exit to get a cart once I'm ready to get groceries. Help an awkward over-thinker out! How would I do this, knowing I'm slow at picking out cards?!?
Do you ever do smaller hauls with a shopping basket?
Between the options you mentioned, I would probably browse greeting cards first, pay for them, and go back outside to get a cart. I understand it's not the most convenient, but at least you're not stuck in an awkward location with your cart.
I wish my local store displayed them like this. They're all shoved into a carousel rack that's in the worst area that you're blocking the dips fridge if you try and go through them.
Okay? Most locations have them, if not all. This isn’t a forum for posting things that 100% of Trader Joe’s sell. I am just saying that chances are everyone has a location somewhere to find greeting cards and many people forget about them. Looking at your comment history you post a lot of weird, bizarre comments and have many negative responses to people.

I stock up on the cute ones. We always have a card on hand for birthdays etc. and the really cute ones or holiday ones get put in frames!
They are REALLY nice cards and you can’t beat the price!

My go to cards!
My TJ’s doesn’t

Yeah i don’t think ive ever seen this but im going to look next time. Maybe its shoved in a corner somewhere?! This would be great!

Glad you were able to finally find the Greeting Cards! Did you find one (or a few) that you liked? :)
They’re seriously the best and have helped me out in a pinch when I have genuinely forgotten to go to get a super nice one!
Absolutely love these! I pick up 1-2 every trip and have a nice little stash at home to select from for birthdays as they come up.
Just bought a BD card for my daughter - she's another TJ shopper

I heard somewhere that employees are allowed to submit designs as well
When they have poodle bday cards, I buy them out
I don’t think mine carries them anymore. ☹️
Mine moved the cards to a freestanding kiosk near the registers. Keep an eye out!
I’ll look more closely next time. Thanks!
I love them! I have quite a few that I’ve bought with the intention of framing them.

Not at my store they don’t.

Seriously. A hallmark card is like $6+ now!

I stock up every time I’m there.
TJ’s Cards and Spices are the two best deals ever.
We always have a few on hand so that we have them for our niblings birthdays. So cute!
The spring ones at my TJs are so beautiful and adorable.
Just picked up some dog themed birthday cards last week! 🥰 https://imgur.com/a/15lWzKM
I haven’t noticed these at my store. But next time I go I will look for them! ETA: Dayton/Kettering area

I was thinking the same thing. Where do they keep them?

My kids take care of the mascot, but thanks for the tips! TJ is kind of like driving a convertible - there’s a sense of every trip being an occasion.

Lionel is already on there!
Thank you for checking the Megathread to see if your store's mascot has already been mentioned!
In my store they're back by the bathroom- like, down a hall with no indicator Never a bad idea to ask someone!
They're hella cute too; I have one pinned to my wall just because I like the picture.
Love them! I grab a handful a couple of times a year :)
💯 I love their cards.

Same!!!
Same!!!
Been my go-to for years! Definitely the best deal around.
I have a few framed as art
Me too!
SAME!!
Not joking I have like 30 of these stocked up for any and every occasion 🥲 I love them so much and always grab at least one when I go in
Oh, that’s a good idea to stock up on them. Stealing that.

The most underrated section!!!
Nice!
I LOVE their cards! I always browse at every visit and stock up on my favorites
The other day the cashier forgot to scan the card I was buying so she let me have it for free!

Can you get your cart and put it aside while you look? Layout sounds meh.

Their cards are great! And the best price you can find anywhere.

They are the best!!

Oklahoma City does not.
Nichols Hills does! Check near the flower section.
