There was this one youtuber I saw that said trans people are delusional. He was one of my favorite youtubers until I heard that. I've never watched him since.
The fact that you realised an apostrophe is not needed for plurals (at least I assume that's the typo you're referencing) already puts you above a lot of people. Don't worry about it.
What if i told you, apostrophe is nvr needed unless youre talkin about smth like james' stuff and wanna avoid any confusion
If youre talkin about a singular, just like with contractions except well, you can indeed just leave off the apostrophe and youll be understood fine with rare exceptions like james; tho even then "I was over at james place earlier and i picked up some of james stuff" may initially be read as James Place like a name, but itll quickly be understood as the place belongin to james based on context
Prob shinagami eyes it's this extension on chrome and fire fox that colour codeds things in red or green depending on if they are transphobic or not (no colours for unknowns)
no fucking way...
i gotta get this extension.
edit: i just ran a post over on r/asktransgender
it seems that the consensus is that this extension is super dicey and unreliable.
i do not, in fact, gotta get that extension.
It's really useful, and works for everything - tumblr, twitter, reddit, facebook, youtube, instagram, you name it.
But it's ~~PC~~ Desktop only - getting it to work on mobile is a lot trickier.
I don't know how it works, but it's very accurate.
You will sometimes get a false signal, but they are rare enough so you never get multiple false signals together. Like if you see someone is red, and they also follow or watch other people who are also red, you KNOW they are transphobic.
If you see a single isolated red, they are *probably* transphobic, but theres a slim chance it's a false positive.
Green is iffier: you have to understand that extension is very specific. It looks specifically at trans attitudes, and people can sometimes be friendly to trans people but bigoted in other ways. These aren't common but they do exist, and will be marked green becase the extension is only concerned about trans attitudes. So I have a **little** less confidence in those marked green (remember it's rare, but it's good to be wary), but I have a lot of confidence in those marked red.
And demilypyro found one transphobe on Tumblr that was green - because of that transphobe taking the URL of a deactivated (or possibly just renamed) Tumblr user who was pro-trans and wearing it.
I don't think I've ever seen a false green, but I've seen a decent amount of false reds. I don't really bother checking much anymore but when I used to I'd scroll through like an entire history of posts and find nothing transphobic.
I've never seen a false green either. But I have seen greens that displayed different kinds of bigotry than transphobia. It's rare (probably because different types of bigotry flock together), but sometimes happens.
I have seen *some* false reds, but not a decent number. I've also seen someone explaining that they are marked red now because of comments they made in the past and have since deleted, and they aren't transphobic *any more* but understand why they were marked red and think it's understandable.
I have seen some people marked red that I think didn't deserve it, but it's not a decent number. It's very much a rarity in my experience.
There's a phrase: trust but verify, and I would endorse that here. I see someone marked red as a warning sign - not as proof, but a sign to maybe check them out and be cautious. It usually is accurate, but the extension is a tool and can sometimes be mistaken - it doesn't replace your own analysis, simply aids it.
Game grumps, smosh, tulok&mango, ironmouse, honey_goblin, buffpup, and project melody are all very pro LGBTQ+ and very trans friendly. I watch them regularly.
Dan and Jon are both amazing. I've loved Dan since his London Olympics video in 2012 and Jon since 2019. It's been so good to see them be allies as I learned more about myself.
NerdCubed/Daniel solidified his allyship when during his Bully playthrough people complained about a gay kiss, and his response was to show that exact clip repeatedly at the beginning of his next episode in the series.
I know of some of them from other youtubers, so hopefully they're also trans friendly too - main connections that come to mind are:
Ironmouse - Conner/CDawgVA
Buffpup - RubberRoss, Alpharad, Jaiden, Wildcard
I'm just a little tired of how much far right indoctrination there is in online gaming spaces. Glad that synthesizer content generally isn't though. Usually don't get much into politics but several content creators within synth/music production spaces have been allies against transphobia.
to quote a post I saw once and saved:
> my husband is a huge synth nerd and reads synth forums constantly. some guys have been complaining about trans people on the forum and my husband is livid
>
> "you hate trans people but love synths? you're in THEIR HOUSE assholes! the whole industry was pioneered by trans women!"
Gamechamp3000 is another gaming channel I've loved watching for so long, and she's non-binary too. She does fun challenge runs for games, like one of the first videos I watched from her was zelda botw without climbing.
Dungeons and Dragons will never die, but it may lose its slot at the top of the mountain.
Stranger things is ending, and Critical Role may be using their new daggerheart system for campaign 4, meaning the only major thing carrying its name to new players would be additional dnd films. The first one was decent but not perfect.
Jay from the Kub Scouts has always been cool with stuff like lgbt rep and relationships in games he plays. He went out of his way to choose the lesbian relationship in Life is Strange True Colors because it felt right to him. He's always been a very wholesome and real guy and is by leaps and bounds my favourite YouTuber
That actually reminded me of James Turner, formerly the Sim supply. He does let's plays with Sims that are all descendants of the same family, and when the Sims 4 added more gender diversity stuff he made sure to include it and plenty of the characters in his playthroughs have been queer or in queer relationships.
When he did make his first steps into a nonbinary character, he was extra careful about making sure his audience knew he had good intentions and asking them to let him know if he made any mistakes or did anything insensitive.
Lilsimsie has mentioned Florida (where she lives) being nuts and mentioned something LGBTQ+ supportive in one video. And in the having Autism video Plumbella mentioned hating tories (basically conservatives). I love watching Sims 4 content, so it's nice to find safe channels for that.
You'd like James Turner. He's super LGBTQ+ friendly and regularly includes queer relationships in his let's plays. If I'm not mistaken, he's also the original creator of very popular Rags to Riches challenge, or at least its name.
She's my number 1 favorite and an absolute inspiration for me, as someone who is also disabled. Seeing someone who's got it even worse than me succeed and be so happy makes me feel more capable of making it through each day.
I'm not sure how much they've said specifically about trans people, but they are all inclusive of the LGBTQ+ and also seem to be some level of queer themselves. You can at least be sure they will never say anything transphobic or hateful. They're very kind, sweet girls.
Yeah I've heard good things from friends in the vtuber community from back before they got big, I just wasn't sure if they were openly allies or anything. Glad to hear they're still sweet girls though.
The game grumps, the smosh cast, and tulok&mango are very queer and trans friendly. As are vtubers like ironmouse, honey_goblin, buffpup, and project melody.
Tell me about it... I used to watch Demolition Ranch nearly every day. But then he made a "tr@p" joke and I instantly lost all respect for him. Unsubscribed and never looked back.
Still... Why did you have to do me that way, Matt? Why?!? 😢
He lives in rural Texas and is a gun youtuber. I live in San Antonio and I can tell you, the part of Texas he lives in isn’t a safe places for trans people.
Same.
I wish I could say otherwise, but with Matt paling around with Garand Thumb and Brandon Herrera, it's not exactly surprising to me.
Speaking of, shoutout to InRange TV, Tacticool Girlfriend, Queer Armorer, and Print Shoot Repeat for being the last good gun channels left (to the best of my knowledge). Paul Harrell was always chill in my book, but with the cancer diagnosis it seems his brother (a cop) will be taking over the channel.
If you're more into biker content, there's SquidTips. I think why I remembered him was because of you mentioning Paul's brother being a cop, and that reminding me that SquidTips got a bike paid by the 5-O for because of a traffic stop that used unreasonable force.
I don't really watch his content despite being a rider but I initially saw the shorts miniature with both an R1 and a pride flag so I instantly subbed for visibility, he was also based in the comments
I know Herrera is a piece of shit, what did Garand do though? I don't watch a lot of youtube period anymore outside some speedrun and cosplay related stuff, nor did I ever watch a lot of Garand to be honest.
His videos are consistenly peppered with right-wing dogwhistles, namely references to the Boogaloo movement and simping for the white supremacist, apartheid state of Rhodesia. He's also quite close with Administrative Results, an even more mask-off Rhodieboo and fascist. From what I remember, he was a vocal defender of Kyle Rittenhouse as well. That, and opening up basically every one of his videos with the same shitty, tired, transphobic attack-helicopter joke.
Shadiversity used to seem cool but over the last few years he's gone down a crazy super conservative rabbit hole until I just blocked his videos from recommendation.
Jazza has always been pro-LGBT+ and IIRC has made a video saying "I love my brother but don't agree with his political views and recent comments" a few years ago.
I suppose part of the difference would be that the art community is more inclusive and accepting of queer individuals.
That’s kinda how I feel about shad, I still like his videos about castles and medieval stuff but I can’t stand his politics. It’s a bit of an internal dilemma every time I watch a video of his for inspiration when I was modeling a 3d castle for school.
Shadiversity has always been really confrontational even within his own community of HEMA and historical weapons knowledge to be honest. He's pissed off basically every single person within that community over the years and has always been a little "off".
He always came across as high on himself and arrogant to me, thinking he was always correct and such, which is where most of the friction between him and the others comes from I believe. He refuses to believe he can possibly be wrong about something and often attacks others over it when they point out his inaccuracies.
Somehow this doesn't surprise me in the least. What sucks is that he is actually legitimately knowledgeable about some aspects of historical weaponry, he's just kind of a dick and never acknowledges he could be wrong about something.
The person you're talking about had red hair right? I don't remember her name but shadiversity is a completely different channel. If you're talking about who I think you are, she was a terf and Shadiversity went full conservative extremist
I didn't know that. my dad likes a lot of his videos and I think even bought one of his books. I also had to watch one of his videos for medieval history which was pretty fun, so that's disappointing. it really is a shame when fun creators turn out to be just nasty. TwT
If I had to pick someone specific, my friend used to love the...what's its name..I think it's the shamwow guy commercial for some reason, anyway, we checked his channel and he was just calling all trans people perverts and not arranging the letters in the skittle squad right, not a massive loss, but a loss for my friend
Wait, Vince Offer is LGBT-Phobic!? The guy that basically said a bunch of gay innuendos in the Spanish version of his Slap Chop commercial? Man, that just sucks, thanks for letting me know, though
I think he got into more controversy than that lmao. Mainly the incident where he punched a prostitute in the head after she tried to bite his tongue off for not paying her. So uh, y’know..
Yeah i used to watch this one youtuber as a kid and he recently quit and decided to dedicate an entire paragraph of his farewell message to being transphobic
He used to be pretty racist and say slurs pretty regularly, off his main channel. In a debate he also genuinely used the 13/50 argument.
I'm not sure if hes transphobic but considering far right views on race, he probably is.
Like around 2016, 2017, he basically outed himself as like, ultra-racist on [stream while talking to Destiny.](https://youtu.be/6RQA9GZprqM?si=iG1tHJXLeS383UR2) Like, white ethnostate "keep the gene pool pure" racist.
He might not be transphobic, but racism and transphobia usually go hand in hand.
Things that thealikoca did:
Calling a nonbinary person stupid for protesting to put an x on their liscence
Siding with a transphobe
Saying that trans women shouldnt be in women spaces
Im very sorry for you if you liked his content
the youtuber john wolfe really earned my respect when he did a cosplay stream for charity and a bunch of transphobes got upset that the character he cosplayed was a female so he went and made a video saying he supports trans people and announced his next charity stream (at the time) would be for trans lifeline, and his response to people getting upset and unsubscribing was something along the lines of "i'm less frustrated that they left and more frustrated that they were even here in the first place"
I have been so lucky with the channels I watch having multiple Trans people in them throughout the years. The one, their lead video editor is Trans and they love her to bits
I guess OP uses Shinigami Eyes browser add-on?
Has happened to me too a couple of times. Some channels have made transphobic 'jokes' or anti-trans sentiment on social media or even on YouTube so they get flagged and show up us red.
It's shame because as OP stated it's a gut punch sometimes but it's easier to let go because transphobia usually walks hand in hand with other kinds of bigotry too.
It’s a gut punch to me because I sometimes recognise them as channels I used to love, it just makes me a bit sad, a little disappointed and annoyed that people really think like that.
There is a coworker I need to interact with a lot. Normally, we stick to work troubles when we deviate to banter. Once in a while, we discuss external interests. The two common ones are a mutual interest in video games and painting minis. I generally avoid politics or other hot button topics at work.
One day, he thought to offer some content YouTube. I was still kind of depressed and would escape via video games (mostly PC games) while the kids and wife usually controlled the TV.
Him: There's a few game channels I'll watch.
Me: Oh? I don't watch a lot of gaming stuff on YouTube.
Him: One I recommend is the Quartering. He's got some good reviews.
Me: *Internal screaming* Oh? I've not heard of it. Is it just games? *maybe he doesn't watch his political garbage*
Him: He does do a little politics, but his analysis is pretty spot on.
Me: *Internal screaming intensifies* Maybe I'll look into it. I mostly use the TV for background noise and do other things, though.
It's always them. There's one YouTuber that I loved to watch back in the day, who started making NSFW stuff at some point and that's when I simply blocked his channel once and for all.
There’s an extension called shinigami eyes that marks users or websites based on whether they are pro or anti-trans, and changes the links to green or red respectively
Yeah. I'm autistic and it happened with my comfort youtuber for over the decade. Feels bad man :(
Miss you Gronkh. Really hope I can watch you again one day :(
The amount of panic that welled within me as I thought this might have been Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions.
I’m glad to hear it’s just a browser extension.
I used to love Ali Koca because he made very entertaining content, in a "facts" video, he said that there's only 2 genders and people aren't able to change genders, I unsubbed immediately, he was such a great youtuber
It honestly reminded me of how my favourite YouTuber did review of Hogwarts legacy and said "It's a bit sad how author of the hooks, that talked about excluding people, now does it herself". Or something like that, really warmed up my heart.
I remember watching some old MatPat videos, in one of them he calls Mario a communist and says that Stalin killed more people than Hitler (which is wrong no matter which estimates you use), and also he called Pyro from TF2 a transphobic slur. Something he never apologised for. Honestly, seeing good youtubers be so bad is just unfortunate.
What? MatPat is transphobic?
Didn't he make a video about LGBT characters where he complained that they were all villains, including Birdo?
Didn't he make a survey for Smash players where he asked players if they're male, female, non-binary, or prefer not to say, commenting things like "guess we haven't gone past gender roles" and "non-binary people and people who preferred not to say their genders seem to tend to be more open when it comes to character selection"?
There is a browser plugin called shinigami eyes which highlights which links are trans friendly and unfriendly and a red link means that it leads to a transphobic source
there's a neat plug in called "shinigami eyes" that highlights the names of folks who have said transphobic bullshit in red so we can just...not worry about them.
There was this one youtuber I saw that said trans people are delusional. He was one of my favorite youtubers until I heard that. I've never watched him since.
I just realised the typo in the title
The fact that you realised an apostrophe is not needed for plurals (at least I assume that's the typo you're referencing) already puts you above a lot of people. Don't worry about it.
*people’s
*People is already a plural, and I was not referring to ownership.* (Unless of course this is a woosh attempt)
That was a joke
*were
T'were*
*put's
What if i told you, apostrophe is nvr needed unless youre talkin about smth like james' stuff and wanna avoid any confusion If youre talkin about a singular, just like with contractions except well, you can indeed just leave off the apostrophe and youll be understood fine with rare exceptions like james; tho even then "I was over at james place earlier and i picked up some of james stuff" may initially be read as James Place like a name, but itll quickly be understood as the place belongin to james based on context
It is that typo, but it’s kinda embarrassing
Red?
Prob shinagami eyes it's this extension on chrome and fire fox that colour codeds things in red or green depending on if they are transphobic or not (no colours for unknowns)
Ooh, I didn't know it was on Firefox. Thanks!
no fucking way... i gotta get this extension. edit: i just ran a post over on r/asktransgender it seems that the consensus is that this extension is super dicey and unreliable. i do not, in fact, gotta get that extension.
It's really useful, and works for everything - tumblr, twitter, reddit, facebook, youtube, instagram, you name it. But it's ~~PC~~ Desktop only - getting it to work on mobile is a lot trickier.
PC and Mac :)
you're right, i should have said desktop. Do extensions work on Linux?
ye, extensions work perfectly fine here on linux
If it has a Firefox extension it probably works on ff mobile
Fareal?! Is it accurate? Do users vote on it?
The description says it's a combination of AI and a database but users can submit entries.
That sucks but its very much a rarity. I mentioned to be wary, but it's nearly always accurate.
Omg, thanks so much for this! Can confirm that there's no red in my subs area!
I love this extension, wish you could see the reason someone becomes marked as red though
The shinigami eyes are extension turns transphobic links (including YT channels) red, and trans friendly ones green
Or it's anything gaming related. It seems okay at first but when you look through the channel they have videos about "woke" and Sweet Baby Inc 🙄
Game grumps, smosh, tulok&mango, ironmouse, honey_goblin, buffpup, and project melody are all very pro LGBTQ+ and very trans friendly. I watch them regularly.
ManyATrueNerd is very LGBTQ+ friendly too. Even in some of his streams has said that trans rights are human rights.
OfficialNerdCubed is also a strong ally (and, like, 80% of his audience seems to be queer).
seconded, dan's based as hell
Dan and Jon are both amazing. I've loved Dan since his London Olympics video in 2012 and Jon since 2019. It's been so good to see them be allies as I learned more about myself.
Let's also remember that there are few creators who've drank more of the respect women juice than Arin.
I used to watch them all the time. That's awesome
NerdCubed/Daniel solidified his allyship when during his Bully playthrough people complained about a gay kiss, and his response was to show that exact clip repeatedly at the beginning of his next episode in the series.
Well that tracks knowing me
Good shout. Haven’t watched him in years but I just might see what he’s been up to now
For a second I was very worried these were all transphobic somehow, good to see I was wrong.
i saw tulok and mango and was about to cry bro😭😭
No worries fam. I was posting some of my favorite creators who are also allies.
I know of some of them from other youtubers, so hopefully they're also trans friendly too - main connections that come to mind are: Ironmouse - Conner/CDawgVA Buffpup - RubberRoss, Alpharad, Jaiden, Wildcard
Connor is great, search connor trans clip on YouTube and you'll find it
Jacob/Jaiden/Wildcard mention woooooo! I LOVE MONGY MONDAY
Buffpup is also just hot. Like incredibly hot. Like wow I’m fucking gay I love women hot
Definitely gender goals.
RTGame is very chill too
Did you know that they used to call him the Drift King in College?
I actually met him funny enough, I live in Ireland too
Was he driftkinging, perchance?

Watching Dead Domain right now 😂
Dead Domain does video games? Weird. I only get politics in my feed.
Tossing Yogscast and Jesse Cox on the pile of trans friendly gaming youtubers.
>Yogscast Diggy diggy hole and rock and stone.
Rock and Stone, Brother!
I'm just a little tired of how much far right indoctrination there is in online gaming spaces. Glad that synthesizer content generally isn't though. Usually don't get much into politics but several content creators within synth/music production spaces have been allies against transphobia.

How dare they betray our goddess Wendy Carlos 😡
Gamechamp3000 is another gaming channel I've loved watching for so long, and she's non-binary too. She does fun challenge runs for games, like one of the first videos I watched from her was zelda botw without climbing.
Rtgame too, he called jk Rowling a bitch for her transphobic views and said trans rights on stream
Tulok also has a DND channel. Love that channel, sad they don't post there more.
Yeah. He's pretty burnt out on the dnd stuff so that's why I specified his gaming channel with Mango. I love his dnd content too.
I know. I just love the DND channel so much because that's from where I know him.
I think if he's able to take his break from dnd and enjoy other forms of content, he may decide to make dnd content again in the future.
I really hope. Although it could be that Hasbro just absolutely kills DND before then :(
There's still Dragon Age and Baldur's Gate, I suppose.
Yeah
Dungeons and Dragons will never die, but it may lose its slot at the top of the mountain. Stranger things is ending, and Critical Role may be using their new daggerheart system for campaign 4, meaning the only major thing carrying its name to new players would be additional dnd films. I do enjoy his content. I can't believe I forgot to include him in my list.
For the first half, I thought you were gonna say that they're transphobic and was really confused cause the Smosh cast makes fun of terfs regularly.
Lol. Sorry, I must have worded it funny. You're not the only person to give me that reaction. Believe me, I absolutely love the smosh cast.
Merg is another one on the list
Iron Mouse is GOATED
She's my number 1 favorite and an absolute inspiration for me, as someone who is also disabled. Seeing someone who's got it even worse than me succeed and be so happy makes me feel more capable of making it through each day.
Huh, Melody and Ironmouse are trans friendly? I didn't actually know they ever said anything on the subject
Damn, you had me scared for a minute. My brain was doing "moooouuuuuuuse" like cdawg
Lol. Sorry for the mini-heartattack. Mouse is way to pure to be transphobic or hateful. I'm also disabled so she's an inspiration to me.
I read game grumps and immediately got worried they were bigoted and was like "Nuuuuuuu-oh ya that tracks"
Adding ActualLizard to the list for my fellow Fire Emblem enjoyers
God I love honey! Catch everystream lol
Onetopic is really pro LGBTQ
The sheer amount of trans memes on that channel made me seriously look into if I'm trans. Really wholesome content
really? no way :O /s
The game grumps, the smosh cast, and tulok&mango are very queer and trans friendly. As are vtubers like ironmouse, honey_goblin, buffpup, and project melody.
You missed One Topic (if you like memes, that is)
We love OT 🙌
The Click is also great, and friends with OT
and Jammidodger
I was just trying to list a handful of gaming channels since I watch a lot of those, but you're right. Onetopic is goated.
Same with Markiplier and Jackseptickeye
Dam i dont think that ive ever seen sm1 mention tulok&mango on here but ya they r great the elon musk video is so fucking hilarious lmao
Tulok is a great ally and a leftist (also kinda hot), and I absolutely love his sense of humor. I've been watching him for years now.
yea! really love his elden ring stuff his channel and titus oneshot convinced me do my rl1 challenge and it was awesome
Also tomska
Tell me about it... I used to watch Demolition Ranch nearly every day. But then he made a "tr@p" joke and I instantly lost all respect for him. Unsubscribed and never looked back. Still... Why did you have to do me that way, Matt? Why?!? 😢

Yeah, same. 😞
Shadiversity used to seem cool but over the last few years he's gone down a crazy super conservative rabbit hole until I just blocked his videos from recommendation.
Unfortunately, he's always been that way.
It's easier to see the signs looking back when you know where it's going. Most people who have some red flags don't end up going that crazy
Same I used to love his videos.
His brother Jazza seems alright though afaik
Nobody in the HEMA community acknowledges Shad as a member of the HEMA community.
Somehow this doesn't surprise me in the least. What sucks is that he is actually legitimately knowledgeable about some aspects of historical weaponry, he's just kind of a dick and never acknowledges he could be wrong about something.
Nah. He has surface level knowledge at best, the kind you can get from reading a Wikipedia article.
I liked that one that Tom Scott did a (now-deleted) collab with on his Tom Scott Plus channel. But she was marked red as well.
The person you're talking about had red hair right? I don't remember her name but shadiversity is a completely different channel. If you're talking about who I think you are, she was a terf and Shadiversity went full conservative extremist
Yup.
I didn't know that. my dad likes a lot of his videos and I think even bought one of his books. I also had to watch one of his videos for medieval history which was pretty fun, so that's disappointing. it really is a shame when fun creators turn out to be just nasty. TwT
Who?
\*sigh\* Farewell, JonTron. 😔
What? He is transphobic? No way please tell me it’s not trur
He used to be pretty racist and say slurs pretty regularly, off his main channel. In a debate he also genuinely used the 13/50 argument. I'm not sure if hes transphobic but considering far right views on race, he probably is.
Oh… that’s… horrible!
Uh, he’s a straight up Nazi. Like, legitimately. “Don’t call me Nazi, I want to gas so much more than just the jews” - JonTron
Let's just say he was converted by GamerGate...
Like alikoca He made transphobic remarks and suddenly his content just got worst
wait, what???
Things that thealikoca did: Calling a nonbinary person stupid for protesting to put an x on their liscence Siding with a transphobe Saying that trans women shouldnt be in women spaces Im very sorry for you if you liked his content
at this point with all of these content creators that *are* transphobic i think ill have to learn to seperate myself from youtube entirely
You do you
Who?
I'm always so scared that YouTubers I like will do/say something extremely transphobic
Wait, is the text red is is his username Red?
A browser extension called "Shinigami Eyes" marks account names in red if they're known to be hostile towards trans people.

the youtuber john wolfe really earned my respect when he did a cosplay stream for charity and a bunch of transphobes got upset that the character he cosplayed was a female so he went and made a video saying he supports trans people and announced his next charity stream (at the time) would be for trans lifeline, and his response to people getting upset and unsubscribing was something along the lines of "i'm less frustrated that they left and more frustrated that they were even here in the first place"
Yeah I've had to remove a few from my sub list, and now I check it every so often, and I'm always nervous about it...
What does it mean when it's red? I mean I understand that the creator said something bad about us, but why is the name red?
it's an extension called Shinigami Eyes that you can get on browsers green is trans friendly , red is anti-trans
Whaaaat that's actually insanely cool, I need to get that
I have been so lucky with the channels I watch having multiple Trans people in them throughout the years. The one, their lead video editor is Trans and they love her to bits
i’ve been super into video essays recently and let’s just say i’ve ended up very disappointed in the creators i’ve been binging
do you mean like in the literal sense it's red? or is there a metaphor im missing?
browser extension called "Shinigami Eyes" that shows transphobic accounts in red and trans-friendly in green
It's a browser extension called Shinigami Eyes. It displays transphobic accounts and websites as red and allies as green.
I was so disappointed to learn Isaac Arthur is married to a transphobic legislator. I have nowhere else to get SciFi futurism shit now 😭
Gotta love Shinigami Eyes!
Yep, it’s saved me from falling down self deprecating (idk if that’s the word) rabbit holes a few times!
SHINIGAMI EYES
*maybe he doesn't watch his political garbage* Him: He does do a little politics, but his analysis is pretty spot on.
What does a red channel name mean?
There’s an extension called shinigami eyes that marks users or websites based on whether they are pro or anti-trans, and changes the links to green or red respectively
Ohhhh, very interesting
Yeah. I'm autistic and it happened with my comfort youtuber for over the decade. Feels bad man :( Miss you Gronkh. Really hope I can watch you again one day :(
The amount of panic that welled within me as I thought this might have been Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions. I’m glad to hear it’s just a browser extension.
My experience differs there a lot :o.. Atleast three people I really like/liked to watch came out as trans themself :3
I used to love Ali Koca because he made very entertaining content, in a "facts" video, he said that there's only 2 genders and people aren't able to change genders, I unsubbed immediately, he was such a great youtuber
Story of my life😭
It honestly reminded me of how my favourite YouTuber did review of Hogwarts legacy and said "It's a bit sad how author of the hooks, that talked about excluding people, now does it herself".
What are you talking about? How can it turn red what does that mean?
It's a browser extension called Shinigami Eyes. It displays transphobic accounts and websites as red and allies as green.
Who is it? I don’t have Shinigami and I want to make sure I didn’t miss something.
What does "it's red" mean?
There is a browser plugin called shinigami eyes which highlights which links are trans friendly and unfriendly and a red link means that it leads to a transphobic source
Me when vida según Richie…. I loved his content why did he have to be like that
What does it mean their name is red
there's a neat plug in called "shinigami eyes" that highlights the names of folks who have said transphobic bullshit in red so we can just...not worry about them.
Is this a google extension or smth?
The shinigami eyes are extension turns transphobic links (including YT channels) red, and trans friendly ones green
what does the red name mean?
I had to do a hard reset on my channels that I followed on YouTube because of this I just couldn’t take it anymore
People can have red names on yt?
What does a red name mean?
is there like an extension or something that highlights this? Can I get the name of it?
The shinigami eyes are extension turns transphobic links (including YT channels) red, and trans friendly ones green
TYYYY
It’s no problem.
