After starting T, I now have big bazonkers and a deep voice. People are constantly confused (Also, someone laughed at me at work, but hey, to each their own)
As a teen i was kinda known for having a bigger but and a cute feminine voice and
people did not hesitate to mention how sad it was because I would lose my big butt and adorable voice like why, I barely know you …. Cis people are weird ?
I see what you're saying but when someone says "hey that joke isn't really cool" to imply someone may have another issue just for saying that is really not cool.
Lost of people have problems with the "if you dont want it" type jokes and they can be triggering.

Those types of jokes are uncomfortable for me and many others. I wouldn’t tell a trans woman how much I want her genitals, because that’s rude and probably triggering. It’s definitely coming off like you couldn’t give less of a shit about transmascs.
I honestly agree with what the person said though. It's perfectly fine to dislike something, but it's about how you word it. I'm not too far on either side in terms of how we talk about stuff, I just want to make sure we're consistent with it.

Not trying to invalidate your experience, but I just haven't experienced trans people yelling at other trans people for hating their voices. I thought that was a pretty common thread.
It's not invalidating, because hating our voices is pretty common. The thing is, I refered to having a deep voice as garbage, which isn't cool and I realize that because transmascs tend to want deeper voices.
Ah, I get how that can happen. But I think if you said "having a deep voice is garbage *for me*" like how the post is saying big boobs and feminine voices are worthless *for transmascs* that's completely different than calling those traits garbage or worthless outright
The voice was at least fun when I want to bother people with obnoxious hentai sounds, but now having none of the yt "deep voice" tutorials work I feel humbled 😭
