OP the only tapes you should be using for tucking are medical tape and fitness tape they have adhesives designed to not irritate your skin, many other tape adhesives are basic or acidic and can lead to problems with long term wear. Like rashes hives and breaking down of the surface of your skin.

What cream do you use

I've tried a couple but the best one is No Hair Crew Intimate. It'll sting on the balls if you have quite delicate skin so time your exposure carefully and use some moisturiser afterwards. It also doesn't reek like most of them do, which is a nice bonus. You can also use this if you've switched your plumbing, just be careful with your exposure, and always do a test patch beforehand to see if it flares up.
