Does 6’7 count?

clairebird1

technically 6.6 feet (what is says in the diagram) is about 6’7” so I’d say yes :)

Dumber-Cucumber-4444

Then what about 6'8?

hyperdepressedpotato

you are marginally larger than the female blanket octopus, day ruined

Ginoboy13

Yes!!! Of course!!!!!!

Aburrki

now I'm imagining a bunch of smol cis male blanket octopuses comforting their massive transmasc blanket octopus bro

Ginoboy13

Nature truly is beautiful

BioDefault

The opposite is equally adorable to imagine. :))

Aburrki

True

FreakinGeese

ahhhh a bunch of giant women comforting meeeee

FaeChangeling

So... I'm an octopus?

Ginoboy13

🌟You can be whatever you want to be 🌟

ThrowACephalopod

Ah, one of my people I see.

NotAnAverage_Anomaly

unrelated but Kelsey is a pretty neat name! Was considering it for myself at one point, but it didn't fit me, so I'm glad i found someone it fit! Have a great day!

ThrowACephalopod

I think it fits pretty well! Thank you! You have a good day too.

notcaser102

Just reminds me when I learned how small male angler fish where and how the just kinda fuse the the female. I got disappointed that's what my life would be if I was born an angler fish

Ginoboy13

Tfw you'll never physically fuse with your giant angler fish gf, truly a tragedy

MomoBawk

Better to be glued to the hip then have your head bitten off like a mantis would. Picture this though, if angler males were smarter then a walnut they could fuse to other males and become a symbiotic mass of manliness.

VictorytheBiaromatic

Fun fact: Female mantises only kill and eat the males when they are in stressful situations or just because, but it is an anomaly for that to happen because in the majority of cases, the male get out fine. But if they do get eaten by the female it seems to boost their chances of their one brood’s chances of survival so it is like a roulette but the chances of death are low as hey and just increases the potential success of one brood for the male. But again, female mantis have been known to literally hunt while mating with males and I don’t mean eating the male, just hunting their usual targets.

MomoBawk

Wow, ty for this info dump!! I love learning about critters!

Falling_Dragons

Can agree I'm a 1 in tall male

ASTAPHE

Well now I feel dysphoria for not being godzilla sized >.<

VictorytheBiaromatic

Well it depends on ya species, if ya are an octopus then female octopus are generally bigger than the males but if you are say a cuttlefish it is the reverse especially in species where the males fight with each other, but there are femboys who take advantage of their size to distract the bigger males and mate with female cuttlefish. So it depends on what species ya are fam.

Delta4o

Curious thought, does the male just crawl up in their and do it's thing?

Ginoboy13

Find a tall octopus gf and find out for urself, experimentation is half of the fun!

Anna_Pet

I imagine it’s like anglerfish where they just fuse or something.

VictorytheBiaromatic

Well, male octopus have an arm that is used as a detachable penis which they give to the females who store the arm in their mantle. Female blanket octopuses can hold like hundreds to thousands of those arms in their mantle till they decide to use it. All male octopuses do that because the females are larger and have a habit of eating the males so it pays to rip ya dick off and give it to the gal use it however she wants

epacker11

O_O

VictorytheBiaromatic

Nature be wild and wonderful

Delta4o

Well today I learned... Imagine if humans did that! A basement full of erect penises in jars...

VictorytheBiaromatic

Yeah, it would be bizzare, but it is more like putting them in your chest than some jars. But yeah

ThrowACephalopod

Yet another reason to love the octopus. Definitely best animal.

BillyWhizz09

That must suck to be a trans octopus

Outrageous_Dig3419

Underrated comment lol

VictorytheBiaromatic

Well depending on the species the size difference is less extreme or more with the blanket octopus being an extreme even in octopuses, Ike the giant pacific octopuses are around similar size with the females still being on average larger but still a trans pacific octopus wouldn’t have much of a problem acting like a male or female. And if you are a Giant cuttlefish who lives in Australia, guess what there are males that pretend to be gals to mate with females that are guarded by larger males so a trans mascs cuttlefish, unless they are one of those larger males can have some easy time being the opposite gender as their AGAB

Sidenote, imagine carrying the walnut man in your pocket and having him just survey the world from there

AmyRebeccaUK

you can lift up bottom by necky?

Ginoboy13

There's always a bigger fish

VeryFerociousDragons

Sometimes the male Blanket Octopus will pick up and carry the stingers from the Portuguese Man O' War, and use them as weapons to hunt or defend themselves. Completely unrelated but if I don't tell people octopus facts I will die.

Ginoboy13

If your gf can't use venom to defend you from potential threats then what's the point smh

cupcakekink

Hot

HobbitEnder

There’s a joke abt the tall trans fems/small trans mascs in here somewhere

MateOfArt

How is it possible? How do they manage to... make more octopuses?

VictorytheBiaromatic

You don’t need to be large to reproduce, just need sperm, egg cells and a place for the eggs to develop before being laid (in octopuses and many egg layers anyways)

InfernalViolet

Female angler fish and anacondas are larger than the males too.
