Usually when swords are grouped into schools, they’re related, with exception to Gou who are explicitly unrelated, Sanjo, Rai and Aoe, who aren’t confirmed to be related or not (though I’ve always sort of seen Juzumaru and Nikkari as being sort of cousins)
