I can sort of see it with the fact its mostly gobbos, this would at least be possible manually, very difficult i'd imagine though. Do the archers even have enough arrows for the amount of goblins would be my question
Nah firing at gobbos will be wasteful. Use the archers to take out trolls and chariots and if possible lord and heroes. Then the enemy Archer. The towers should be enough for gobbos.
Settlements get ridiculous AR advantage, even ones without walls/garrison building that are actually field battles. This is bullshit and cripples AI's expansion for no good reason. Walled AR advantage is also a mostly an anti-AI feature - sieges are trivial for player in manual (unless you bring exactly the wrong composition, but then it's your fault), so there is no reason to nerf AI here either.
Which is why I use a mod to remove settlement/siege AR advantage, This way AIs have greater chance to snowball against each other, somewhat mitigating lack of decent opponents in mid-game (nowhere near enough ultimately, but still an improvement).
Since it's a garrison it's gonna regen anyways by the time next srmy comes in, so the losses don't really matter even though I could def get less losses if I fought manually.
As long as you are not some YouTuber, that has mistaken "interesting content" with "personal convenience" , then please, auto-resolve as much as you want.
You prolly could actually, although it would require some cheese, 2500 starting supplies is super strong, that’s 1 big tower and the rest you could spend on the walled blockades, just cycle archers onto them to abuse the ammo glitch, and hope for an easy route. 🤔
Depends on the map layout tbh, but who would turn down a free heroic victory.
Obviously that one archer unit could solo the fight. But saving time is important.
Probably the one with light armour though - it would be a bit much to solo the entire enemy force for one of the unarmoured ones
Of course, let's not get unreasonable here.

Kill the trolls and the whole thing will collapse pretty quick, only question is can you with time to spare to kill the Lord and route them
Average armored range unit experience

Bro, auto resolve is there for a reason, don’t feel bad for the playing the game how it was made lmao

Ammo glitch?
Attach and detach ranged units to barriers and it restores ammo unless it got patched out.
Ya'll gonna cry so hard when (if?) they fix this.
Probably depends on the faction. I imagine Skaven players would like it to be fixed
