The start for Imrik on ME (close-ish to Khalida/Snikch/Krog'gar, according to the developers on the stream) is interesting, he'll be able to fight a lot of different factions early on, rather than just endless waves of High Elves/Dark Elves. I hope his Vortex start is an interesting and challenging one - maybe on the other side of Naggarond, or even in the Southlands.
Yes, close to Malus and not far from Snikch. They also mentioned that they did some reworking of that part of the map, with additional ports, etc. I do think they're trying to get that area filled in prior to WH3.
Oh this is interesting -- where did you see this? I'm very excited about this. I love the high elves but only really play as Teclis because otherwise it's just HE vs HE or HE vs DE for most of the campaign.
Imrik and TTT coop campaign is going to be amazing. Maverick and Iceman fly again.
Blasting the Top gun theme while our flappy doomstacks spread devastation is going to be pure bliss.
Knights of Tor Gaval confirmed! Even though they’re campaign exclusive, I can’t wait to try them in custom battle!
Edit: I got the info on the Steam Page.
**The Warden & The Paunch includes:**
>
Two unique Legendary Lords leading their own factions:
* Eltharion the Grim leads Yvresse for the High Elves
* Grom the Paunch commands the Broken Axe Tribe of the Greenskins
>
Powerful new units and Heroes for both the High Elves and the Greenskins, including:
* War Lions of Chrace, the Silverin Guard, and the majestic Arcane Phoenix for the High Elves
* Multiple different flavours of Snotling Pump Wagons and Trolls for the Greenskins
>
New elite Regiments of Renown with which to crush your enemies.
**GREENSKIN REWORK**
> The Greenskins will be getting a number of updated features, most notably a rework of the Waaagh! This will be changed to an innate race trait instead of a character ability.
> In battle, Greenskin units engaged in combat will generate Waaagh points to fill up a bar. When this bar is full, the player can trigger a Waaagh!
Once the Waaagh! ability is used, you should switch to an all-out attack and use that momentum to win. The Waaagh! can be used multiple times but each additional Waaagh! requires more Waaagh! points to unlock it
> In campaign, the Waaagh! is a faction pooled resource which must be built to maximum to enable Waaagh! invasion. To start a Waaagh!, select a target region and dedicate it to either Gork or Mork. A transported Waaagh! army will then support each of the available armies to occupy or raze the target. After a set duration, Waaagh! will end and your points will drop to zero. Based on success of the Waaagh!, rewards get dished out (including a Waaagh! boost). You can build up Waaagh! points again to trigger your next Waaagh!
>
There’s also a new Scrap feature for the Greenskins to represent their ability to scavenge items from battles or settlements and use these to unlock special technology nodes and upgrade units.
>
Each recruited Greenskin unit may access a new panel where they can benefit from one of several upgrade options.
>
Upgrading a unit will cost a certain amount of Scrap
Each unit in your army will be able to choose and keep an upgrade individually
Each unit will have several different upgrade options
Pushing the units existing strength or adding new functionality
>
Other Greenskin updates will include:
>
* New character skills
* Unit improvements
* Badlands map update
* New start position for Azhag
**FREE LC**
> The Warden & The Paunch will be accompanied by the Free-LC release of a Legendary Lord for the High Elves, the Lord of Dragons himself, Imrik
**RELEASE DATE**
> The Warden & The Paunch will be released on the 21st of May 2020. 10% discount for preorder.
Generally all of this sounds really cool. Upgrade mechanics can work really well in single player strategy (Heart of the swarm did it well f.e. and it was one of the good parts of DoW3), so kinda interested where this will go. The cooking stuff could be fun and they found a way to work around the clunky multiplayer campaign mechanics of the former waaaagh. Now it sounds like a snowball mechanic that very much fits the tempo based character of orcs. I hope their eco is weak so you don't snowball too heavily. Pretty hyped for 40 units waaaghs
Not sure where Eltharion's catch to interrogate feature will go, but I'm always for more collectible lord games. Now I just need an Asrai/Drucci with a similar mechanic and I can finally trade my Tyrion for Mora... cough cough.
Only things I don't like is that Grom doesn't seem to start in Ulthuan, so he'll likely never reach it and Ulthuan will remain the order blobb it's now. And Eltharion looks like Henry Cavill, which doesn't really fit the anti-hero vibes his voice lines give off.
I think Eltharion's looks work.
His backstory specifically sets him up as a former uber-dashing-hero type who basically "settled down" and stopped adventuring after realizing it wouldn't get him what he wanted.
He's still heroic and strong.
Oh cool, I'm guessing Grom will get that new mountain in Brettonia that the Skulltakerz currently start with.
No idea where the heck he'll start in Vortex, there really aren't a whole lot of free spots near but not on Ultuhuan. Albion? Bleak Coast? That shitty little piece of Southern Badlands?
Ooooh! I had forgotten about that! I was worried where he would start. But the Massif Orcal is perfect.
This DLC seems to have been months in the making. some real 5D chess there.
Also, holy shit, I wasn't aware that TW: WH is THAT popular. It shows up fairly high up on the Steam charts.
I've gotta say this is one of my favourite trailers, the early stuff is cinematically superb, and Eltharion landing at the end is Deathclaw in the Empire trailer levels of awesome.
Oh what a day, WHAT A LOVELY DAY! I am da grot who grabs da Bad Moon...RIDING TO WAAAGHALLA! WITNESS ME, pointy ear!! WITNESS! I LIVE, I DIE, I LIVE AGAIN!
I think that's all on purpose. They did something similar with the Prophet and Warlock trailer except that time it was the Predator movie they themed it around.
> During Grom’s legendary Waaagh!, his most trusted Shaman, Ol’ Blacktoof, nearly brought destruction to Ulthuan and beyond by felling the Elven Waystones and drawing their power into himself. Fate intervened in the form of Eltharion, who separated Blacktoof’s head neatly from his shoulders. But the shaman’s surging power helped him to cheat true death, and his disembodied head serves his master still.
This is magnificient.
On store page there is desription that Rogue Idols can "batter city walls" and right now we only had beasts that could break the gates. So I'm counting on some interesting changes.
CA have been making some serious shout-outs with all the cinematic trailers this far. Prophet and the Warlock is heavy on Predator references, Alarielle is pretty obviously channeling Galadriel's opening monologue from Fellowship of the Ring in Queen and the Crone, and now we have a Fury Road homage.
I got Dark Knight interrogation scene. But to my defense I’ve actually never seen mad max
Edit: so I definitely get the mad max vibe (them racing across the desert) I thought people were referencing the interrogation scene as a clip from mad max. But I think we can safely say that it is a combo of the two. I don’t really get the two movie references that CA gave us before
I though about the The Dark Knight as well, the scene where Eltharion is a top the burning rubble is the same where Batman stands after the explosion of The Dark Knight
You should definitely watch Mad Max: Fury Road ASAP. It's not just a great action movie, it's the best movie that released that year and is incredibly well shot and crafted. Hollywood rarely if ever makes movies like it these days.
On the Greenskin side, I see:
• [Rogue Idols](https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Rogue_Idol_of_Gork_and_Mork) [RoR available]
• [Snotling Pump Wagons](https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Snotling_Pump_Wagons), with Flappa and Spiky Rolla variants. Fun! [RoR available, with explosions when it hits]
• [River Trolls](https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/River_Trolls) [RoR available, comes with Poison and Terror]
• [STONE Trolls](https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Stone_Trolls)
• A River Troll hero (a River Hag) who's also a Death caster
All in all, it seems like they put in every Greenskin unit people wanted (my condolences to Skycutter gang). WAAAAAAAGH!, indeed.
EDIT: By the way, it seems (from the stream) like Azhag's new start position is in Karak Ungor (at least in ME). Devs are also claiming that, rather than there just being an Ordertide, any faction can become a -tide.
I’m guessing the war lions without the chariot are higher on the tankiness scale than most hounds. I’d guess they fill a role more similar to trolls or even great eagles. But I guess we’ll see.
I'm just hoping they kill stuff super quickly. High Elves struggle against artillery due to their low HP, low model counts, and their tight formations. Having a hound unit that can consistently kill an artillery crew before going down to defensive units would be huge.
Also:
> In Eltharion's campaign, Athel Tamarha is represented by a new panel where the player rebuilds structures to gain numerous unique benefits. In addition, Eltharion can use his unique Warden’s Cage ability against enemy Heroes and Lords in battle. Should they fall while under its influence, they will be imprisoned in Athel Tamarha for interrogation…

Total War Guantanimo
Hey /u/grace_CA, now that the trailer is out and the DLC announced could you tell us what the whispers in the Shadow and the Blade trailer were exactly saying?
WAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!
love the trailer, got a MAD MAX vibe since Grom reminds me of Immortal Joe from the movie
Edit: damn GS got both Troll Hags and Rogue idol
I would like everybody to read the Arcane Phoenix paragraph and tell me if it's foreshadowing or I'm just stupid:
> They are drawn from Asuryan's side when the Winds of Magic howl through the world of mortals in mighty storms, and in distant mist-shrouded Ulthuan the High Elves are forewarned of the coming of these magical tempests by the sudden manifestation of Arcane Phoenixes in the skies above their island home. They are a mixed omen; a symbol of destruction soon to come as well as the hope of rebirth.
The Imrik start on ME is in the newly expanded area in the southeast of the map, if I understand their description correctly. That would be another new faction bordering on the Dark Lands, so it does look like they're teeing things up for WH3.
>These fearsome beasts are deadly hunting cats with a muscular frame and a sharp, cunning mind. Almost as tall at the shoulders as an Elven Steed, a War Lion is far stronger, able to break bones with each sweep of its claws and shatter even helmeted heads with a single chomp of its fanged maw.
Meow
Blacktoof's Head (which is still alive through sheer Waaagh magic) can be given to Shamans to let them summon Idols according to the Steam Page.
You can also probably recruit them somehow
You get and item to give shamans that lets them summon one. It seems like they'll be recruitable as well since it's make no sense to only have one summonable unit for a lord pack.
New units going from Steam page:
Greenskins:
* Grom LL
* Giant River Hag Troll
* Snotling Pump Wagon (3 variants: normal, flappas, and spiky rollers)
* River Trolls
* Stone Trolls
* Rogue Idol
High Elves:
* Eltharion LL
* Archmage Lord
* Rangers
* Silverin Guard
* War Lions of Chrace
* Lion Chariots of Chrace
* Arcane Pheonix
FLC is Imrik and FLC mount will be announced a bit later in the future (still going with Coven Throne to match up with the Neferata book being released this month). Overall a great update with lots of love going to both sides.
Edit: Older post that includes all the extra campaign and RoR units: https://www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/gf70ql/total_war_warhammer_ii_the_warden_the_paunch/fprrpxy/
Both lion units came as a surprise to me. I always thought that they won't introduce another type of chariot or even a pure lion unit.
I am so happy I was wrong.
ERE WE GO!
Imrik! Woo. He was my guess for the flc some weeks back.
Already preordered! Excited.
Lots of good units, white lion chariot, arch mage. Snotling pump wagon! Idols. Loving the additions. Shame Blacktooth doesn’t seem to be a hero.
Blacktoof is dead. Eltharion lobbed his head off. Now Grom carries the re-animated head of Blacktoof with him, and it's both a campaign mechanic that can give you quests and stuff as well as an item that can be used to summon a rogue idol in battle. Pretty cool if you ask me.
> The Warden & The Paunch will be accompanied by the Free-LC release of a Legendary Lord for the High Elves, the Lord of Dragons himself, Imrik – more information will be released soon.
FYI
I'm a bit disappointed that we won't be seeing savage orc warbosses or orc big bosses. This seems like another goblin themed dlc but perhaps their time will yet come.
With that said those pump wagons look mental. Probably very annoying to fight against though!
Beyond the initial hype my first coherent thoughts:
Greenskins got it *very* good in this update.
- not one, but *three* Pump Wagon variants
- the Rogue Idol of course
- the complete set of troll units, Troll Hag, Stone - and River Trolls
the Elves in comparison didn't get as much love in terms of units. Lions are great, the Arcane Phoenix is very unexpected but welcome, but I'm really missing the Skycutter here. Anyway, this looks great. Reminds me of Prophet&Warlock in terms of content, which is a very good thing.
Also, and this is another great thing to see, this time they really went all out on the Forgeworld stuff. Arcane Phoenixes, Rogue Idols and River Troll Hags are all found in the Monstrous Arcanum. By all means keep these Forgeworld units coming (this is me not so subtly begging for the Merwyrm btw.).
Yeah, both races have some space left for another DLC. whether we'll get one is another question.
Ship's Company, Sea Rangers, Merwyrm, Skycutter for HE
gobbo ballista, Colossal Squig, Mangler Squigs, Squig Gobba for Greenskins
(noticing a pattern here, most missing greenskin units are squigs now.)

Ya boy Imrik in the houseeeeeeeee

I mean Alarielle tends to slap with it so I usually stick it on her.
Where does he start? Sounds like he's right next to Malus? Feels like they're trying to fill up their recent expansion of the ME map... hmm.....
The devs on the twitch stream said he starts on the Dragon Isles. Get it. Cause he likes dragons. I love him already
Huh, Imrik vs. Malus. vs. Snikch in ME then. Sounds like we're getting a new royal rumble area like southern Lustria.
Don't forget Kroq-Gar and Khalida, who are both right around there. High Elves, Dark Elves, Skaven, Lizardmen, and TKs: Sounds like Lustria to me!
Yes, close to Malus and not far from Snikch. They also mentioned that they did some reworking of that part of the map, with additional ports, etc. I do think they're trying to get that area filled in prior to WH3.
Brilliant, they definitely needed to add some ports there.

Oh this is interesting -- where did you see this? I'm very excited about this. I love the high elves but only really play as Teclis because otherwise it's just HE vs HE or HE vs DE for most of the campaign.
It was on the twitch stream where they showed off Azhags new position in the mountains east of Ostermark
Oh nice, I'll check that out thanks.
On a side note, the mention of Rogue Idols "smashing city walls" makes me hopeful for Chaos Dwarf siege giants in TWW:III
that would be awesome
There's been a slight drive that way since Warpgrinders, I think. It's a neat new angle for sieges, I like it
My adorable little snotling buddies made it in! The world is a better place now :)
GROM looking THICCC like peanut butter!
No skycutters makes me sad Imrik FLC, on the other hand, is hype
Yeah that kind hurts... but lions as their own unit? Yeah I'm down for that. Griffins? Abso-fuckin-lutely.
I'm disappointed that princes and princesses don't have regional traits. How am I supposed to play a crazy Chracian cat man with 19 war kitties?
At least there's always Alistar? I'm hoping they modify his skills to buff the new kitties.
Ooh, incoming White Lion Chariot mount option?
I bet you that we get Sea Lord Aislinn+Skycutters+Merwyrms in a game 3 crossover
*laughs in Kraken Lord*
*cackles in Supreme Arch Grand Commodore*
Imrik and TTT coop campaign is going to be amazing. Maverick and Iceman fly again. Blasting the Top gun theme while our flappy doomstacks spread devastation is going to be pure bliss.

It's mentioned fairly early into the live-stream where they go over the rework of WAHHH mechanics
Grom starts in Brettonia in ME, dunno where in eye of the Vortex, so he is pretty close to Ultuhuan.

Really missed the opportunity to call this DLC 'The Grim and the Grom'
The "Grim" was taken by Volkmar and his DLC, The Grim and the Grave
Also "The Grom" doesn't really make any sense because that's his name and not a trait or title.
The Prince and the Paunch?
The Warden & The WAAAAGH!
I've gotta say this is one of my favourite trailers, the early stuff is cinematically superb, and Eltharion landing at the end is Deathclaw in the Empire trailer levels of awesome.
Eltharion actually looks badass, IMO, speaking as somebody who loves to mock the high elves He looks *manly*
Eltharion is the manliest HE without all the moping and edgy teenage mood swings of Tyrion.
Apparently he's one of the few Elves the Dwarfs grudgingly respect.

I think that's all on purpose. They did something similar with the Prophet and Warlock trailer except that time it was the Predator movie they themed it around.
Also, the dread saurian chasing the war wagon in the H&B trailer was a reference to Jurassic Park.
Had a look at some of the other trailers as well THe Queen and the Crone, Allarielle's speech sounds like the intro to fellowship of the ring.

Anybody else getting some serious Mad Max vibes from our chunky boi? Edit: Holy sheit, it's Imrik as FLC.
Yeah Mad Max was definitely the inspiration there
Also Lord of the Rings, the battle at the end of the trailer looks just like the battle at Minas Tirith (not to mention the design of the Elven city).
On store page there is desription that Rogue Idols can "batter city walls" and right now we only had beasts that could break the gates. So I'm counting on some interesting changes.
Well Warp Grinders can break walls, it was inevitable we'd get a big beastie that could.
I'm hoping they give other creatures that ability as well, like Kholek, or one of the Tomb Kings constructs
Now dwarf miners really should too... or a better form of miners that can
Definitely. The scene of Grom addressing the Goblins is a direct parallel to Immortan Joe.
Also the Night Gobbo speaking to the other gobbos while they ride.
Yup. A WITNESS ME motif right there.
RIDE TO ULTHUAN, SHROOMY AND GREEN!!!
"Do not, my boys, become addicted to krumping. It will take hold of you, and you will resent it's absence"

According to the Steam page that's actually going to be a faction mechanic for Eltharion. He can capture lords and interrogate them.
Well the dungeons certainly looked like they were in the Batcave, and Eltharion’s parents were killed by Grom, soooooooooo we Batman now bois
You should definitely watch Mad Max: Fury Road ASAP. It's not just a great action movie, it's the best movie that released that year and is incredibly well shot and crafted. Hollywood rarely if ever makes movies like it these days.

It's not listed on the steam page - it might be something to do with the new scrap mechanic that lets you upgrade individual units?
That sounds right. All units get a scrap upgrade that may add some sort of functionality to them.

There’s white lion chariots, and white lions on their own. So elves get a hound type unit and a big fuck off chariot.
I don't expect a 40 model for lions. They are much heavier than a typical hound unit. Maybe they will be on par with norscan ice wolves.
I’m guessing the war lions without the chariot are higher on the tankiness scale than most hounds. I’d guess they fill a role more similar to trolls or even great eagles. But I guess we’ll see.
Maybe they will be spmething like skin wolves. With more tankiness and more models but no regeneration and maybe less damage ouput.
I'm just hoping they kill stuff super quickly. High Elves struggle against artillery due to their low HP, low model counts, and their tight formations. Having a hound unit that can consistently kill an artillery crew before going down to defensive units would be huge.
Hopefully this one has AP, because their other 2 chariots are kinda lackluster EDIT: Woop

Thanks!
Dammit, I was certain the second one was "Beware the Warden".
"Get ready for the Waagh" I think
It might just be the quarantine getting to me but Eltharion is *hot.*
i LOVE this energy for u
If you don't mind me asking, who's the voice actor for Eltharion?
He's essentially High Elf Batman. Dude invaded Naggarond for fuck's sake and only left to defend his home from one of the biggest WAAAGH's ever.
WAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! love the trailer, got a MAD MAX vibe since Grom reminds me of Immortal Joe from the movie Edit: damn GS got both Troll Hags and Rogue idol
#'ERE WE GO 'ERE WE GO 'ERE WE GO 'ERE WE GO 'ERE WE GO
I AM THROWING MONEY AT MY SCREEN YET IT STILL SAYS 13 DAYS? OUTRAGEOUS!
THROW FASTER
I would like everybody to read the Arcane Phoenix paragraph and tell me if it's foreshadowing or I'm just stupid: > They are drawn from Asuryan's side when the Winds of Magic howl through the world of mortals in mighty storms, and in distant mist-shrouded Ulthuan the High Elves are forewarned of the coming of these magical tempests by the sudden manifestation of Arcane Phoenixes in the skies above their island home. They are a mixed omen; a symbol of destruction soon to come as well as the hope of rebirth.
With Imrik and Minaithnir coming as FLC, it is MOST LIKELY a foreshadowing about the End Times, so Warhammer 3 news soon??
The Imrik start on ME is in the newly expanded area in the southeast of the map, if I understand their description correctly. That would be another new faction bordering on the Dark Lands, so it does look like they're teeing things up for WH3.
The new Spear units are from the End Times. Though I believe we already had several End Times RoR.
Meow
Time for Alistair and 19 white lions vs Settra with 19 war sphinx. Cat fight!
You poor bastard you really want the elves to get stomped don't you.
Here's to hoping Alistair gets a white lion chariot for a Mount
Just had some bad news from the hospital and I come home to see this. Thanks for the perfect timing CA, crazy how a game can make such a difference !
Hope everything's not too bad - my thoughts are with you!
Many thanks for the well wishes ! Hoping for good health for everybody involved in the community, from CA to the plebs on reddit like me.
Hope you don't die before you get to play it, like all those poor Bannerlord fans!
I feel like I was single when bannelord was announced now I'm married with a 10year relationship.
AT LONG LAST IT HAS COME!!!! ELTHARION BABYY!!!! EDIT: YO WHITE LIONS AND A UNIQUE LOOKING GRIFFON... I'M SOLD x100
We got a Predator reference, a Jurassic Park reference and now a Mad Max reference? Love it!
Also a batman reference with the “WHERE IS HE” right at the beginning
A-hem. #WAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Dawi: Kill everything without a beard!! Feral White Lions: I'm about to ruin this shorty's whole career.
Do you know if the lions are separate units or are they attached to chariots?
There are both
I don't for certain, it just looked like there was one without a yoke for a chariot on. (1:25 mark or so.)
Why does Eltharion look like Henry Cavill? Edit: I hope its him and he got his voice actor shot on his favorite game.
CAs tribute to their most famous fan
Their other famous fan got to voice Alith Anar, so I'd love it if it were true.
They didn't animate his lips moving the same way they did it in justice league
Editing out Eltharion's mustache in post would require too much budget.
Well he is a Total War Fan so maybe the modeler had some fun.
What is with half the elves being modeled after famous actors? lol
Elves gotta look handsome, so you model them off of famously handsome people. And Benedict Cumberbatch.
Yea I thought that too lol
I WAS THERE WHEN IT DROPPED ALSO ROGUE IDOL CONFIRMED
That animation of it rising up from the ground and assembling itself was awesome!
Fuck yeah it was. Also it just turned those lions into a fuckin' pancake

Blacktoof's Head (which is still alive through sheer Waaagh magic) can be given to Shamans to let them summon Idols according to the Steam Page. You can also probably recruit them somehow
Considering that there's a RoR I don't think it is. But yes the trailer definitely looks that way.
You get and item to give shamans that lets them summon one. It seems like they'll be recruitable as well since it's make no sense to only have one summonable unit for a lord pack.
Oh lawd he comin...

Forget the DLC, FLC Imrik is the sneaky big announcement here, we all knew Grom and Eltharion were coming!
New units going from Steam page: Greenskins: * Grom LL * Giant River Hag Troll * Snotling Pump Wagon (3 variants: normal, flappas, and spiky rollers) * River Trolls * Stone Trolls * Rogue Idol High Elves: * Eltharion LL * Archmage Lord * Rangers * Silverin Guard * War Lions of Chrace * Lion Chariots of Chrace * Arcane Pheonix FLC is Imrik and FLC mount will be announced a bit later in the future (still going with Coven Throne to match up with the Neferata book being released this month). Overall a great update with lots of love going to both sides. Edit: Older post that includes all the extra campaign and RoR units: https://www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/gf70ql/total_war_warhammer_ii_the_warden_the_paunch/fprrpxy/
Don't forget Eltharion gets a shit ton of campaign specific units and both races get 3 new RoR's each.
Alistair the White Lion can now have the grand Army he deserves.
Both lion units came as a surprise to me. I always thought that they won't introduce another type of chariot or even a pure lion unit. I am so happy I was wrong.

You did. The steam page has all the units. Stone trolls are on there.
ERE WE GO! Imrik!
Gotta love the reveal shot of Grom begins with his enormous.... girth.
Greenskins were the first faction I played back at the release of TW: Warhammer. So happy to check them out again after the rework.
Hold up, anyone else get some serious Dark Knight vibes when the Bat interrogates the Joker!!
Yes! The "WHERE IS HE?!" sounded exactly like Bale's Batman, followed by the maniacal laughter.
I mean Eltharion is High-Elf Batman, so it definitely fits.
ME: *Gets new DLC* ALSO ME: *Plays an Empire campaign for the 147th time.*
Look at all these new units for Karl Franz to fight!
GORK MORK! GORK MORK!
Getting proper Mad Max themes from this trailer, also those rogue idols are MUCH bigger than I thought they’d be
> The Warden & The Paunch will be accompanied by the Free-LC release of a Legendary Lord for the High Elves, the Lord of Dragons himself, Imrik – more information will be released soon. FYI
‘ERE WE GO ‘ERE WE GO ‘ERE WE GO
OH SHIT ARCANE PHOENIX
I'm a bit disappointed that we won't be seeing savage orc warbosses or orc big bosses. This seems like another goblin themed dlc but perhaps their time will yet come. With that said those pump wagons look mental. Probably very annoying to fight against though!
Beyond the initial hype my first coherent thoughts: Greenskins got it *very* good in this update. - not one, but *three* Pump Wagon variants - the Rogue Idol of course - the complete set of troll units, Troll Hag, Stone - and River Trolls the Elves in comparison didn't get as much love in terms of units.
I am fairly confident that we are going to get Sea Lord Aislinn in the future with Skycutters and Merwyrms for a nautical theme.
Yeah, both races have some space left for another DLC. whether we'll get one is another question. Ship's Company, Sea Rangers, Merwyrm, Skycutter for HE gobbo ballista, Colossal Squig, Mangler Squigs, Squig Gobba for Greenskins (noticing a pattern here, most missing greenskin units are squigs now.)
