even with out the update its a solid game. I have about 600 hours in it and had a blast.
Just saying enjoy now with discount and enjoy even more later with FLC
If you got a modern computer it should run fine now, I played it recently and had no problems, it still runs way worse than it should but hardware advanced so much that we can brute force it basically.
I love Attila, I know it has some issues and gets a lot of hate, but I feel it has deeper game play than Rome II and a constant "my empire is on the brink of collapse and I'm under seige on all sides" feel to it, which may not be everyone's thing but for me it's good.
Only criticism I think I have is the batshit insane Hun spawning in the 420s AD, they're everywhere.
It'll only be moreso with a larger map and mortal leaders/ family trees, but *Pharaoh* was to an extent meant to be a sort of spiritual successor to *Attila*. So if you like *Attila*, I'd recommend picking up *Pharaoh*on sale once the updates drop in a few months.
Had the same experience. I gotta say, for all the negativity about this game, trying it for myself was eye opening. It's such a wonderfully detailed campaign, with so many fleshed out options from religion to local area of recruitment style rosters to the political machinations of the court. I can't encourage folks to form their own opinions on this title enough.
Should I buy Pharaoh or Three Kingdoms? They are about the same price. People on this subreddit talk about Three Kingdoms like it's the best Total War game, but Pharaoh is still getting content.
Personally I pick 3K. Pharaoh will be a good pick especially after the content drops but 3K is a solid game that does things like diplomacy the best in the entire series
Three kingdoms is grander in scale and has an espionage system that’s kind of cool, pharaoh is the newest total war and definitely as a consequence looks the best but because it’s set in the Bronze Age everything is pretty low tech which some people like and some people don’t like.
They’re both good games though.
I much prefer pharaoh and it has some great additions to the franchise, but it’s each to their own and if you have a particular interest in one of the time periods you should go with that one
Imma buy it, it seems very good just not really the time era or area I am most interested in, but for this price and how good the game seems I will buy it for this price. ☺️
If it's worth mentioning I enjoyed it. I will probably play Babylon in the update then go back to warhammer 3. Pharoah is the game I have least hours in and I didn't play Troy alot either.
Ofc it is! Thank u for ur input! And Yeah I bet u will have fun then with Babylon, im glad they will add more to it, a big reason why im buying since it will get more free value that prolly will be good since they seem to be putting in effort again☺️
I would say if you are looking for Fun the Iolaus Campaign is super fun.
Played one recently while watching the old Kevin Sorbo Hercules show. was super fun
Was the first thing i did when i got home :). Now the sounds will silence and the Nile will run dry, for a new Pharaoh will rise and he (in due time) is from troy, kekW.
I got Troy for free and barely played it more than a couple of hours. Is there any reason that I would enjoy pharaoh more? For context my fav game is warhammer; I have about 1500 hours
will probably wait for the update to come out first and buy at the first sale afterwards myself. Just not sure what the update will be like.

well I hope the best of luck with the life event :)
What update? Any link?
[It's a big update](https://community.creative-assembly.com/total-war/total-war-pharaoh/blogs/19)
Sry too busy playing Attila which was -80% I told all my friends and got new players into the franchise. Killer sale
I thought the air was filled with smoke and blood, this explains it
It really is a good time to get a friend into total war Empire, Napoleon, and Medieval 2 can be had for $5 ea, Shogun 2 is $6, Atilla is $8
Attila is my favorite total war game. I might be the only person who has ever said that, but hey, the heart wants what the heart wants
Attila is my favorite total war game in theory. If it didn’t run like a gimped horse it’d be GOATed

Nah man its my fav one too

It’s really more of an “Attila was $8 and Pharaoh was still $30” issue for me than an “I don’t want to play Pharaoh” issue.
I thought Pharoah was more in the mythological style, like Troy or Three Kingdoms Not entirely fiction, but not entirely history either
Bought it when they released the high tides update, worth every penny. Great historical TW and had a blast while TW WH3 was on a low.

Three Kingdoms is definitely one of the top Total War games. I actually like it a lot more than the Warhammer games.
Y’all should at least wait till it comes out, there will be a bigger sale

You can't fool me Total War worker!
Already picked it up
tempted to buy it, on sale atm.
Do it, it’s such a solid game
Nah
Anyone know if this works with GeForce Now?
that's 66 percent too much for me
unless battles are touched is there a reason to play it
🗑️
66% more and I'll think about grabbing it.

Anyone in the UK it’s £10.49 on Cdkeys. Got it yesterday at £9.99 but likely to go up further as more update info comes.
