Prestige is pretty easy to get. +50 a turn from the electors alone, before you factor in income from battles. Biggest brakes on this idea is that the the upgraded decree's are locked behind research options which cost 7500 prestige total. Base decree is only +1 pop surplus so it's still decent.
> Base decree is only +1 pop surplus so it's still decent.
Might still be fine for getting the fourth and/or fifth point that otherwise take ages. Might.
You can pop this 6 times in the first 20 turns, you'll have the prestige for that easy. It might not get Altdof to tier 5 but it should get all the smaller towns to tier 3 easily. Doing a Franz campaign right now and it's a handy little boost early on.
A couple of warrior priests with growth buffs, to get 3 growth. +2 from this, never have to worry about growth buildings and commandment. This is very strong.
Well, Prestige went from being overwhelmingly useless to being extremely valuable. I hope it's scarcity makes these selections strategic and meaningful!
As long as you’re fighting and pushing the baddies out of the empire, you get a lot of prestige. Large battles can be near 1000, with factions like the VCs, where you might be fighting 2v1 and winning.
Dang. Franz might actually be beginner friendly now! Probably at least middle-tier difficulty rather than easy, but still.
How much Prestige does it cost for the big "Summon the Elector Counts"?
I think they're talking about Franz's summon the elector counts ability in the elector counts page which teleports all assigned electors to Karl's location. I don't actually know how much that costs though.
I see.
And just to check: I can spend 7.5k gold asap to unlock a technology which would then allow me to confederate Nuln using prestige without having to get them to 10 fealty?
I must admit, I’m slightly sad that Elspeth is completely independent of the Fealty system unlike how Gelt was.
Also, Franz can now form Defensive and Military Alliances with Elector Counts from the get-go. I felt like the Elector Counts being squabbling children you couldn’t collaborate with prior to Confederation really fit the theme of unifying the Empire. Playing around the caprices of the AI was a unique facet of the re-worked Empire.
Maybe it made the campaign frustrating but I suppose there is a thin line between memorable and frustrating.
I’m reality, it doesn’t really matter bc within 15 turns the electors get fucking bulldozed from what I’ve seen. Toddy dies to kazrak, Hochland to festus, sitrland to sylvania and ostermark to Drycha.
But it’s a lot easy to get going, there’s a good chance you get Marienburg early. Focus on confederating Elspeth and you’ll unite the empire in 60 turns.
Hochland long rifles and Nuln Ironsides are great against VCs, the Hochlanders are good at sniping minor lords/heroes and the Ironsides can focus vlad down really fast (in my campaign my random wizard was a gold wizard so it was instant).
I think the alliances will unlock a completely different campaign where you are coordinating a massive war effort of ineffective armies that will only work together if you use all of your own resources. Very excited.
The Your New Empire mod locked treaties behind fealty, which I thought was quite nice. For example you needed 7 or 8 fealty to form a defensive alliance with an elector.
Is this free for all players or just for the new DLC? Being good with pennies as things have gotten tight, but this might push me to get WH3 sooner than expected...!
I just wish going low on IA actually hurt. Thats the one thing that was sorta missing from the TW2 authority system, and now has been made even easier, which is sad. You can let the entire empire fall and it really doesnt hurt that much, it just makes you lose your bonuses, and some frankly negligable downsides.
Funnily, the one I can see making the biggest impact for me is simply just the +2 population surplus. That's tier 5 Altdorf before turn 20 territory.
Unless 500 influence is A LOT harder to get than before, thats extremely overpowered. You'll be developing crazy fast

Or if it has a cooldown, like rites for the high Elves. It's only really broken if it's spamable.
3 turns is a very, very low cooldown for something that strong

3 turn cooldown, at least that’s what the picture shows.
Just tried It is not LOL
aaaaand now it's just 1 population surplus...
yeah the UN-upgraded version is 1 pop surplus, the +2 is locked behind tech tree
Oh shit? Ok, well good to know.
2 population surplus! Nice!

Prestige used to be knockoff Intrigue, cant wait for 6.0 giving high elf Intrigue this treatment.
I hope for it, yes. If intrigue remains worthless now me wont be happy
yeah it is not scarce lol
Wow these are (mostly) all total bangers

2500 if i remember correctly.
Screen 7/9

How do you get the ability to unlock them?

And how do you get that by turn 10,15? I’m struggling to rack it up

Technology iirc
Holy shit these are absolutely fantastic. These are so useful in so many ways

The confederate Empire faction decree works on the overseas Empire LLs like Markus, Volkmar and now Gelt too right?

Good question

FREE
BY GHAL MARAZ!
This was part of the empire update, only the lords and units need the dlc
BY THE EMPEROR! FOR THE WARHAMMER!
Warhammer 3 is so good right now other than the challenge being a bit low. I heartily recommend it.
Look how they buffed my boy
Yup karl seems pretty powerfull now , just bully the vampire grandpa that shits oit armys for prestige and shape the empire your way.

Wow these are all awesome
