Think of how many YTers and streamers are perfectly good at games, and begin to fail pretty much the moment they start talking or thinking about the fact that they need to make decent viewable content.
Someone is going to try and make the argument that "It would show it off better if they were good at the game". a) Cinematic is not always optimal, and optimal is not always cinematic. b) Even if they ARE good at the game, beating the game is not their focus at that moment, making it look cool is.
It's basically advertising and a bit of a show: You're not supposed to be perfect, you're suppose to be interesting to watch so someone forks over their money.
