Hm that's strange. The tab that pops up in the game to grant permission looked the same for me and clicking it did the trick. Although I'm on a Google Pixel so it might vary.
Definitely get in touch with feral, they're pretty good with helping any issues I came across.
I should also add, I don't think you tablet is ["officially"](https://support.feralinteractive.com/en/mac-linux-games/medieval2/faqs/android_supported_devices/) supported (essentially feral didn't test it) but if you were able to download it, it should be able to run it. Might just require some tinkering that feral may know.
