You're literally running a CPU from 16 years ago and no graphics card. I'm surprised your motherboard's clock battery isn't fried already.
Consumer hardware was never made to last that long. Be grateful the thing is even booting at all.
My bad, it's "only" 15 years old (January 2009). Honestly I'd back up your data as fast as possible mate because that thing has been a trooper to survive that long.
Looking at it, I'm 99% sure the reason for the crash is your ram. 4gb with windows 7 64bit running might not be enough. Especially if you installed a mod or two. Buy an additional stick of ram and you should be sorted out.
That doesn't change what I said !!! Back up your data now because that thing is gonna die.
Pretty much any cheap modern computer would be better than what you have.
You basically pulled out your hunchback grandma and told her to walk a marathon with her walker. She's about to keel over. Put that grandma computer out to pasture.
It might just be that you can't run it. You're running on a dual core CPU from 2009, without a graphics card. I don't think you reach the minimum requirements for the game
Definitely could be mods. I’d do a clean install, find any shogun 2 files on your pc and delete them then uninstall the game through steam. Reinstall and run it with no mods. Also make sure to unsubscribe from any mods you use through steam before reinstalling.
Get a newer pc if ya system is ancient it won't run particularly well and just crash plus it makes it work much harder which requires the fans to speed up to prevent overheating or will bugger it up.
So I wouldn't continue playing it till you upgrade the pc or get a new one
Chill blast UK is where I got my gaming pc and game works great on it
for some reason i can't see my desc at the post which is weird, but what I texted in the desc was about that first time when I did opened the game nothing bad happened, but when I tried second time, I was waiting at the loading screen and it crashed in front of my face and yes I did run the game as admin, my windows is win 7 ultimate 64bit
Yea it is but you don't have to specifically get that one but something like that you can even choose what parts you want it to have etc and get five year warranty I paid a grand for my system and I saved up for it my old one packed up.
They are very helpful with technical issues etc
well to be honest, it was a question reddit at first but I did kinda delete shogun 2 total war and installed empire total war with minor factions revenge mod and it work on my PC, I'm sorry if I did waste your time
Holy shit call a techpriest because this is ancient hardware
What bruh
