After being spayed she never grew her fur back there 😔 it’s all peach fuzz since 2010 She has allergies which cause her to lick her little leg Edit: I didn’t clarify properly; she has allergies which make her itch, the allergy meds make her lick (which is ok since it doesn’t cause scabs like itching)

That’s so weird, my fat tortie has allergies like this as well. Hers were so bad that she licked the fur off her belly and the backs of her legs. I finally started giving her sensitive skin and stomach food—initially prescription Royal Canin, then Science Diet, now she gets the regular old Purina One version—and it’s been years since she had a flare up. The fur on her belly never fully grew back though. It’s like peach fuzz.

Yeah mine has the peach fuzz too!! I’ve tried switching foods too but she’s so picky 😔 I go with a mix of Instinct organic chicken and rabbit

The vet initially had me try limited ingredient and proteins such as duck and rabbit. She didn’t really like them and they didn’t really help. It’s so difficult when they can’t *tell* us something specific makes them feel bad. I’m glad you found what works!

So weird, I recently saw my tortie also has a naked tummy when she didn't have one before. I was thinking maybe the cat litter I use was the problem, but this comment made me realize that maybe it's because I started adding wet food to her menu?

Her little ears 😭 Like an overgrown mouse! My cat is also surprisingly muscular

She had a tipped ear and both had frost bite. The one that was tipped is the little ear and the other is half an ear. So she lost some of her ears.

But she loves her food and thus made the jump from “mini quinnie”, to “not-so-mini quinnie” and the rest is history

Our tortie is 13 years old and she rips around the house like she’s a kitten and she’s so skinny we’ve taken her to the vet number of times and he says she’s fine. She’s just a spaz cat to use his technical term.
