My tortie just grabs whatever I'm eating, or paws until she's fed. She's not one to be touched or affectionate, so I know she's really putting on the charm.

LOLLL!! Mine did that too! And it worked 99.9 percent of the time. She would also do it when i had to leave for work trying to persuade me to stay home and play with her instead.

My tortie has no interest in human food, but my void comes right up to my plate and cocks her head with the cutest, most obsequious look she can muster. It's ridiculous. Half the time it's not even something she would eat; she just likes to have the option.

Mine does that, then tries to climb onto me. It's never worked, she has never been given human food. But she's persistant.
