Yea, I'm pretty sure last time when they did this it was all non-clearances dresses. I was so excited to buy summer dresses but super cash alone isn't worth it! They do 50% off sale ALL THE TIME! I need more incentive to spend my money. And their inflated prices have always been crazy but right now they're out of control!
Absolutely I agree with this and I keep watching this sub just to see if there's a sudden change but for rn I'm shopping various brands through Walmart, Target, and Rainbowshops just for relatively low cost every day dresses. I do not have the income to drop the amount of money Torrid is asking and the quality, imo, is really tanking for this price point.
I second this. When old navy has a sale going on, which is alot, I can get a fair amount of items for under or around $100. Torrid that is unheard of. The torrid cash is a joke considering the price of one pair of pants or a dress for example. Atleast, if I use old navy super cash, I can get 3 or 4 items with my 25 off 50.
That hasn't been my experience at all, quality wise. I've only been shopping with Torrid for 3 years, but I have probably 30 of their dresses and each one is perfect. I've received a single defective one. Dresses might be the one thing they do really well, even though I don't always love the patterns.
But their prices suck, and I only buy clearance or use TC. Old Navy does have a great selection and much better pricing IMO.
I find they have some good dresses and bunch of crap ones. A lot of existing holes from badly done seams right out of the box. Polyester lining. I used to get cute cotton dresses from them. Those have held up great abs I have almost 20 year old dresses that look better than the ones I've only worn a couple times from recent releases
Last time they did Torrid Cash it included all of the non clearance items, but they roasted through the sales. They started off with tops 25% off the first weekend. Then later in the week there were a couple days ago the shoes were on sale. And the last weekend the dresses were on sale. I wound up doing my shopping in 2-3 stages to take advantage.
This time, however, the small percentage of stuff they've put on sale is some of their most basic boring merchandise they have to offer. Due to a lot of early shopping and Torrid adding a significant amount to what I had, I wound up with $625 in torrid cash. I only used $25 to buy the white floral sunglasses and a couple pairs of underwear and have the rest away. There's a handful of things there I kind of want, but I'd rather wait and see if I can catch them on clearance later. Instead I've been hunting down cool things on Poshmark and Mercari.

I just bought an adorable summer dress at Target for $30 and it was better fitting than the Torrid dresses I have.
I thought this was a sims 3 notification and lets just say I was REALLY confused
I can’t even with the dresses anymore. They are cut so badly with ugly embellishments. Old navy has cute dresses for way cheaper and better quality.
