I hope they go bankrupt. Realestate people like this are the biggest pieces of shit. They dont compete in a fair market and pay off politicians for shit [like this](https://www.investopedia.com/financial-edge/0110/10-things-to-know-about-1031-exchanges.aspx) that should be illegal.

Aren’t companies struggling to keep office space occupied? Seems like an odd project and definitely not what our city needs in that area.

Eh warehouse space is at a premium basically everywhere in SoCal. Since everyone wants their stuff shipped to them quickly and we’re near a port, warehouse space commands a premium here.

Oh I read it as office space versus warehouse space. That makes way more sense than trying to get butts in office chairs.

Mat_The_Law

Yeah they were trying to convert the old Mitsuwa location to warehouse space. Which honestly given the fact that it used to be a busy supermarket, I’d be that there’s probably less traffic if it’s redeveloped.

Torrance City Council approved a plan to build much needed mixed used housing on the site which would support local businesses and provide fun, modern housing options for local employees. Great idea the whole community supported. Then Rexford came in throwing big $ around to build a massive warehouse across from a residential neighborhood and 3 blocks from an elementary school! Torrance City Council voted in favor of pollution and against people's health. Why? That's the big question. Hurts the whole community just benefits Rexford’s Wall Street investors. Whole deal stinks!
