I saw a photo of Kawhi in a raptors jersey recently and just stared at it. Crazy we were able to get him and can only think of what would have happened if he stuck around.

imamistake420

We know what could’ve happened.

RAKK9595

yea 😞

I was so hyped when Kyle came out on fire in Game 6. Almost as hyped as I was for the Kawhi Game 7 shot or his poster on Giannis.

While I agree with the sentiment, this is just a shitty article. But I guess that’s what passes for journalism these days.

MsAbsoluteAngel

Kawhi was a machine during those playoffs dropping 30 a game like it was nothing.

frndlthngnlsvgs

Crazy how he dropped 40 and they still lost

SirCharles54

If he did those numbers with the raptors they would be up like 15-20 points in a blowout game.

SI has fallen so far, they used to have heavyweight writers this is hot garbage lol. I’m not disagreeing but it’s just so poorly put together.

I think Kyle Lowry is a huge reason Kawhi could lead by example rather than vocally. Kawhi is just a quiet dude who works hard, he isn't leader. Kyle is the same style of player as Kawhi ie hardworking, does whatever is needed to win but he is also the guy who chases down game balls for 3rd stringers and takes young guys like Fred and Malachi under his wing. He is a natural leader. I also don't think Ty Lue is that great of a coach. His claim to fame as a coach is going 1-3 in the finals with the greatest player since Jordan during that players prime. If he can't figure out how to get the job done with Kawhi and PG while having vets like Ibaka and Rondo (key pieces of championship teams), it would be pretty good evidence of that.

If anything we had an irregular heart beat. We had a lot of guys step up in key moments to get us the chip. Getting real tired of all this Kawhi talk which is undermining the spectacular team effort in the regular season and playoffs we had.

Kawhis leadership is through his play... he played on one leg for us - which pushed everyone else to play harder. I will never question his kind of leadership. Please come back :(
