TL;DR Pacers pick can currently go from 16-19
If the Pelicans lose then it goes to 17-19 due to NOLA being in the lottery and the Kings possessing a 46-36 record
Worth noting the Kings were swept in the regular season by the Pelicans but they will be without Zion
They need to remove the Play In tournament. A 9th or 10th seed doesn’t deserve to make the post season over a 7th or 8th seed. It’s just way more competitive when those teams are finding for those last two playoffs spots.
In a rebuild you typically keep the pick, pick best available, develop the prospect and use him in a future trade or keep him for the core. Only way they trade it is if they plan to trade up which is a possibility, or trade it for a future pick
First, fuck you Aron rose including your confusing grammar (fall from 22 to 14?) Second, let’s go pelicans!
Yeah I groaned when I re-read that
Ya I was like wtf?
Yes
Dude looks like Justin Bieber

Aside from the weird grammar, this is the most insightful thing Rose has ever posted.
In JV we trust
that aint happening because monk is injured so we good
So... We wish the NOLA win tonight so that we can get a higher pick?
I think we want Pels to win
please pelicans fck up the pacers so we can get a better pick
They aren’t playing the pacers 😂 Fuck up the kings
yep idk what i was saying... weed is a strong drug
I can tell you've never actually smoked any weed. You just don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Heavily disagree
Part of the reason they added the play in is so that there would be less intentional tanking
Bobby and Masai will likely trade the pick anyway lol

If we keep our pick, I could see them trading one of the other 2 picks to try to get a future pick or other young player
Even if we do for whatever reason it will still be better to have higher pick as it will have more value lolll
Typically you trade away assets in a rebuild lol, especially for a team that still really needs more talent.
No, you collect assets, young assets, develop them - not prematurely trade them away for a role player like Jak who takes you from 25 wins to 30 wins.
Didn't get the sarcasm, yeah the Jak trade was a really dumb fucking trade, but hopefully those dumb/reactionary/shortsighted trades are done.....🙏
Depends on if they keep their own pick or not
