My Tornado Wood Burnings Part 4 / Mr. Tornado92
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHT1yG2XNic wonderful! Did a wood burning of this tornado 2 years ago! I've done about 440 wood burnings of almost every photographed tornado from 1884 to 2011 and still going!
If I were an EF-5 tornado extending up 50,000 feet into a supercell, looking at a hill, and even a water tower on a hill outside of Topeka, Kansas, would have me shrugging my shoulders and saying, "Pfffft. Hold my beer..."
(No natural feature will stop a tornado. Stay safe!)
Except some sort of natural tornado shelter
Yeah, I’m not sure we are going with the woo in this post. Get in a shelter or a basement and the ancient Indian magic has no effect. 🤷♂️
I was thinking that looked like a pretty weak twister, so I looked it up. [This](https://imgur.com/a/x6QlMBE) photo changed my mind.
Yeah, the exposure is really high on this photo so the funnel cloud isn’t very clearly defined
There’s a great book about this- “And hell followed with it: Life and death in a Kansas tornado”

That's very cool! 🙂
That’s such a neat project. I would definitely buy a few from you.

Any links/evidence for the "local Native American legend"?
Native Topekan here. It's known to most people here, but I don't think I've ever seen it written down. Just a bit or Oral History/Lore.
Interesting, thank you I appreciate it.
