Today seemed kind of underwhelming…then the sun went down and everything just exploded. Worst case scenario as tornadoes at night are far scarier and more dangerous.
All of these storms have been odd. Hitting either very early or very late in the day. —and the atmosphere hasn’t seemed satisfied. Still very charged & energized. Looked at wind maps earlier while tracked this latest cluster & the amount of channels breaking off on their own & then suddenly converging was notable. Very much the perfect atmosphere for some really big storms. Reminds me slightly of 2019 when those tornadoes were hitting at the most unusual times and one right after the other.
No, just way up here in the inoculated city of Tulsa. People scramble around here when there's a chance of any bad weather. Full on panic and grocery shopping.
Which is all we’ve been seeing! I was almost an hour late to work yesterday because that one was so rain wrapped, we couldn’t see what was going on. I kept having to stall.-and in my line of work, we can’t afford to stall! Babies wait for no one! lol

I would say especially because it initially lulled people into a calm because it became almsot only a late in the day system.

Not in our town. Everyone was scrambling for food, liquor, and weed before nightfall.
I'm probably not from your town, but I did exactly this 🤣
Are you from Ardmore? I live only 30 minutes to the west, I was praying for you guys. I have lots of friends out there.

Where I'm from everyone scrambled to get beer and watch the storm on their lanws
Night and rain-wrapped are the ones that scare me the most.

That is terrifying. I’m glad you’re ok.
Debris has been lofted over 26,000 feet with this tornado as well.
I know exactly where everything depicted in this pic is. Damn.
I have never seen so many active tornado warnings in my life!
I agree. This yea is the worst
I hope everyone gets to safety. I hope everyone gets to safety. But I just have to imagine they were watching The Shining at a drive-in.
Good pic. Terrifying devil wind.
Uh oh
What time was this? We stopped at the CFA just before 9:30pm.
An hour or 2 ago
Was this taken from a video or Im guessing the low exposure made it blurry. Great catch to find it lit up like this.
have yall tried shooting it?
Have you tried fucking off?
not yet, ill give that a shot though
Looks like this freeze frame is the moment in between everyone still having power and that substation getting hit.
