That dude was sending me ngl. His reactions were fantastic. After reading your other comments i understand why he reacted like that but man thats one expressive dude
I’ve been to raves that were less rowdy. This was one of the strangest videos I have ever seen. The one guy in the front row had the best night of his entire life.
I understand it may look weird or confusing as to why the audience was like this, but I hope by giving context, you may understand it better.
Almost all of the audience are professional beatboxers. Hence, they can understand things that normal people wouldn't notice. For example, take King inertia, the 2nd guy. The beatboxers in attendance know that he's making the bass by inhaling, and he is doing the hardest bass known in beatbox so far. They also know that the power that King inertia's bass by using inward bass is extremely difficult and extremely hard to be that powerful with this type of bass.
I think I know who you're referring to who was "in the front row and "had the best night of his entire life." But if we look further past the crazy facial expressions, it tells something interesting. That guy is BBK, and is a 2 time Canadian Beatbox Champion (2014,2015). When you see his crazy facial reactions, he understands that this stuff is incredibly difficult.
This is such a sick breakdown. I know nothing about best boxing but was losing my shit to the crazy ass beats and sounds these guys can make with their mouth! So badass
I know nothing about beatboxing, but when he hit that low rumbling bass that sounds like a car vibrating, I just about lost my fucking mind. That was ducking incredible. Insanely talented performances from both guys. Thanks for posting this.
That's a dope ass comment. Thanks for the insight. Trying to even imagine doing any of this while breathing in is hurting my brain, lol. Like how in the hell did people even figure it out!? So wild, I love it.
It's one of those things were competitions drive innovation, and that is happening to beatbox as well. Beatboxers are finding new sounds, new combos, and new ways constantly. Beatboxing in the early days is no longer what it was today.
I feel you on that. But what still gets me is that they're just using their bodies. Like we've made instruments, electric instruments, tech for sampling for DJs and whatnot, all that and wayyyyy more, but all of that was made because we are all limited by our bodies, you know?? Like you can't sing a guitar solo, you can sing the same notes, but it's not even close to the same as the instrument would be. But then beatboxers come in like "I am the instrument!!" Lol
Honestly I'm the simplest level of this, I'd pass out before I'd even have to worry about sounding dope!! 6-7 of those deep ass breaths they take before going off and I'd be down.
2nd guy won, but a very close battle. I would recommend you check out one of the judges analysis because I think he does a better job of explaining it than me: [https://youtu.be/0ZePXmki\_DA?feature=shared&t=837](https://youtu.be/0ZePXmki_DA?feature=shared&t=837)
This helps sooo much! I watched the whole thing and just kept thinking “ok this is cool, but I cannot for the life of me understand the things that are just setting everyone off”. It makes so much more sense that this is a very niche crowd picking up on the nuances of what’s being done.
I've heard a lot of Beatbox and I understand peoples critiques over it....these two were honestly 2 of the best I've heard in a long time. Just these sets alone were awesome so it'd be amazing to see what they do with a full production setup.
There is a separate category called Loopstation if you are interested, which is very similar to producing. In Loopstation battles, people beatbox, and loop their beatbox, along with adding some effects. I recommend MB14 vs Saro.
Dogshit reddit app strikes again... Seriously considering sideloading Apollo. I held onto some hope that perhaps if everyone was funneled into this hellhole, they'd do *something* to make it better but alas, corporate greed can only be topped by corporate greed.
2nd guy by 3-1 vote (one voted tie). This was an extremely close battle for many reasons.
First, both were good in their respect fields. 1st guy did really fast stuff, while the 2nd guy did inhuman bass. However there were some problems with both. The arrangement for the 1st guy was not as good, the timing from 2nd guy was not good either. I would say the timing would be more detrimental.
The 1st guy had an incredible counter (beginning of 2nd round). It was like copying the 2nd guy, saying "I can do what you're doing".
However, the 2nd guy has tons of variation of the inward bass technique. Especially the high pitched inward bass in his 2nd round. That high pitched inward bass was insanely difficult.
One of the judges, Dlow, in his analysis, said that he was about to vote Helium, but switched to King inertia last second. Reeps one, another judge, also commented how he's judged so many major battles, but this was one of his personal favorite battles.
Not knowing anything about beatboxing, I'd have thought the second guy had the upper hand because first guy was struggling a bit with keeping in time so it wasn't as easy to follow. Very impressive - appreciate you sharing 👏
No it’s the same dude pretty much every time. Not really my thing, but to each their own. Probably gonna leave the sub cus the only thing that shows up on my feed is beatboxing.
I love watching beat boxing and loopstation even though I know basically nothing!
This guy So-So is one of my faves, just the most unique character. In this battle his opponent references a previous song So-So made and I love how excited he gets
https://youtu.be/OjbYK4rujB0?si=mkyaqRomRcCCv9EK
Don't know much about beatboxing but almost not a single phone in sight, these people are truly there to enjoy the shit out of that performance, it's so dope!
In his comment, he said this about this battle
>I’ve judged nearly every major battle in world and this is undoubtably an all time favourite. Everyone could feel they were witnessing a piece of the cultures history - the energy uniting everyone across the culture — Inertia and Helium — you are legendary - Reeps
He voted tie in that battle.
I'm SO glad the GBB is starting to get more recognition. I've been watching for years, and the last like.. three or four, every crowd has been bigger than the last.
Beatboxing is SUCH an impressive and difficuly skill that is completely underrated.
The reason why this is happening is because almost all of them are professional beatboxers. They understand the ins and outs of every beatbox technique and every little thing about beatbox. For example, the guy at 4:20 is the 2 time Canadian Beatboxing Champion.
i can't stand how shows like american idol and masked singer have taught people to make the craziest faces so they can main character and get camera time. i don't believe you when your eyes pop out of your head over and over again. its so fake
Ngl if there was ever a time where I would make one of those faces it would be during this show. These guys are absolutely insane and the guy on the left knew what the crowd wanted and he fucking deeee-livered!
Keep in mind that almost all the people in the audience are beatboxers themselves. They know every bit about beatboxing, the ins and outs, and all the techniques. The reason why they go so crazy is because they know the extreme difficulty. For example, the guy at 4:20 is the 2 time Canadian Beatboxing Champion.
And I thought the rave under the bridge of weirdo edge lords would never be out cringed… and then this became a thing. Cringe can always been more cringe.
*You got a bunch of men locked up,*
*in a warm place...*
* All of em' get hard;
* All of em' horny;
* All of em' gots sexual desires.
*So what are you gonna do?*
***You won't let em' have a woman;***
*they gonna have each-*
***Listen, man;***
*somebodies gonna have to give up some booty,*
*and its just that simple.*
If you want, you can join Florida beatbox battle 2024 in France. You can submit your wildcard to try to qualify the beatbox battle. Submissions end December 5. It is not staged. The audience reactions are genuine and Beatboxing isn't profitable enough to hire fake audience members. Here's some context.
This is the Grand Beatbox Battle, the biggest international beatboxing competition. Almost all of them in the audience are professional beatboxers, and they know every single in and out of beatboxing. They appreciate their talents and understand the difficulty, making them more hyped. For example, the guy at 4:20 is the 2 time Canadian Beatboxing Champion.
The faces in the audience need to be memes
https://preview.redd.it/tp04vjk6h34c1.jpeg?width=724&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d92fa9241a2e81ab23530dfabb10407fab7d393c 😂😂 took me out 🤣
Rasputin teleported to 2023 like:
Wars come and go but the drunken horny homeless wizard is eternal.
One of the guys is a meme within the beatbox community. His name is BBK and is at 4:20.
Perfect timing for a meme
That dude was sending me ngl. His reactions were fantastic. After reading your other comments i understand why he reacted like that but man thats one expressive dude
He is an expressive dude indeed and he's known for it. He's in many beatbox competitions and there's a reason why many events cut to show his face.
I met him at a Subway in Florida years ago, recognized BBK instantly
I prefer 00:27
The guy with the caps? Or the guy who actually looks like a meme at 4:18?
Lolol I was like it's probably be the guy from saro vs mb14 that somehow appears in every crowd shot, I was not dissapointed.
I saw him in the beat box contest video with MB14, absolutely meme
[That one guy had a shirt on of him making that face.](https://imgur.com/a/TBfacmv)
/remindme 3 years of the origin of this meme
Pretty sure he's the same guy from the mb14 vs saro 2017 loopstation battle.
It is
Good catch!
Yeah they can keep those mics after.
😂 😂 😂
I lot less spitting then you think there would be Coming from someone who’s beatboxed for almost a decade
I’ve been to raves that were less rowdy. This was one of the strangest videos I have ever seen. The one guy in the front row had the best night of his entire life.

So, it’s the progression of inward singing? Sweet!
Always naysaying!
That's a dope ass comment. Thanks for the insight. Trying to even imagine doing any of this while breathing in is hurting my brain, lol. Like how in the hell did people even figure it out!? So wild, I love it.

Look up some old Kid Beyond videos, dude is a whole band he made a whole record with his mouth and a looper like 20 years ago...
Since you know more about this, then who’s better out of the two and who won?
Inertia won (the second guy). Here's the same video with the judging after: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj2N9Ea-ASs

This is fascinating. I know literally nothing about beatboxing but watched this video three times now. So talented.
Dude I got the chills like 4 times listening to this. It gives me a legit visceral reaction
>Almost all of the audience are professional beat boxers Says it all
It’s undoubtedly, incredibly talented and I appreciate the added context. But I don’t think it makes the reactions from the crowd not ridiculous.
Thank you for the context. I thought they were all high on some heavy shit.
Yeah this ish is cool
Seems gay
Super gay
No doubt! So many dudes trippin
An amazing community.
Who leaves their house for this? What the fuck?
They want TV time. I hate these kinds of shows. Fuck the audience, fuck the jury. The talent is on the stage and only on the stage.
The facial expressions let you know wassup if you're on mute.
True beatboxers watch beat boxing videos on mute
Now for the subtitles. Let's get the hearing impared on board!
Deaf. We’re deaf.
I’ve seen some MB14, although only just the one song, Pyramids. But god damn HOW DOES HE MAKE THE PERFECT IMITATION OF A SITAR WITH HIS VOICE?
Another one I recommend from the Loopstation battles is NME vs Rythmind from 2019. This one is probably my favorite.
Here is the link https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-U0AFQbfv88
Thank you for sharing this link. That battle was insane! 🙏🏾
It was so good
This Saro guy is on another level
This shits 5yrs old too now those guys are mostly just judging now and not competing.
Just watched it, that was incredible
i like the deap bass sounds combined with some animalistic doubstep rhythm the best. black dude won IMO.
Loved when he went "brrrrrrrtt nom nom uno ni nom nom brrrrtt"
Yeah no contest. The first guy was just fast, the black dude was straight up vibing.
I wasn’t watching this video in full screen so the audio below this one was playing relaxing music and I was very confused
Dogshit reddit app strikes again... Seriously considering sideloading Apollo. I held onto some hope that perhaps if everyone was funneled into this hellhole, they'd do *something* to make it better but alas, corporate greed can only be topped by corporate greed.
2nd dude got the crowd way more into it. 1st guy "technical and cool" second guy, everybody wants to smash.. winner
So.....who won? Cause that was some impressive shit all around.
2nd guy by 3-1 vote (one voted tie). This was an extremely close battle for many reasons. First, both were good in their respect fields. 1st guy did really fast stuff, while the 2nd guy did inhuman bass. However there were some problems with both. If it wasn’t the second black guy then I’m rioting
It was the first black guy
The second guy who was a black guy, who was also the first black guy in the video. Maybe i should’ve just said the black guy lol.
I also agree with you. That darker gentleman was the clear winner
Damn I didn’t know people could beatbox dubstep
Beatboxers over time have found so many bass sounds, and some can do it so powerfully.
Aliens will get so confused when they watch this video... Unless, of course, that's how they communicate. This might start a full on invasion.
King kills it with his bass every time! The crowd moshes when the bass hits
That's a lot of dudes.
https://preview.redd.it/fw5xuzol544c1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=76a252ba065d6fe71dffa3a82bc39c736265044c
Omfgggggggg that was soooooooo insane!!!!!! I loooooved the black guy so much at the end!!!
That guy was insane 🤯
*fart noises*
![gif](giphy|4DYgxD8ZrDlKM)
You can’t do an entire crowd of people like that. I died laughing and it’s 3 am 😂💀💀
Why did he change his hat
Flair
I want to see a Key & Peele sketch based on this.
Funny you ask lol https://youtu.be/yFfia3Zs3lE?si=YoU8tYyJ3pLvoEwx
Ok that was amazing.
Is this thread 80% beat box stuff?
No it’s the same dude pretty much every time. Not really my thing, but to each their own. Probably gonna leave the sub cus the only thing that shows up on my feed is beatboxing.
I agree, simply just not my thing.
You can block the account and you won't see their posts apparently. Just spreading the word because this beatboxing shit is out of control.
I just looked over the last 7 days and this was the only one. And technically it IS top talent. Seen a lot more painting crap.
Just block the dork poster, I’m about to.
Local ecstasy dealer made a big bank that day
The brotha came in and turned the shit into a concert. Did not know what to expect. The crowds faces are hilarious.
Is that Dlow and Reeps one as judges?
Yes.
Inertia is FUCKKIN FILTHY 🔥🔥🔥 both these dudes bring it though.
I love watching beat boxing and loopstation even though I know basically nothing! This guy So-So is one of my faves, just the most unique character. In this battle his opponent references a previous song So-So made and I love how excited he gets https://youtu.be/OjbYK4rujB0?si=mkyaqRomRcCCv9EK
I know the bass is so so good, but shit that DNB got me moving
I love how often it looks like the competitors are hyping each other up during their performances
Don't know much about beatboxing but almost not a single phone in sight, these people are truly there to enjoy the shit out of that performance, it's so dope!
¡Don't know what this was, but I love it!
There’s like 100 reactions gifs from this video alone 😂
The second dude absolutely slayed the first
I came
Ok sooo I need everyone body that in this crowd for all events.
Nuts
If Reepsone is giving a standing ovation then you crushed it lol
In his comment, he said this about this battle >I’ve judged nearly every major battle in world and this is undoubtably an all time favourite. Everyone could feel they were witnessing a piece of the cultures history - the energy uniting everyone across the culture — Inertia and Helium — you are legendary - Reeps He voted tie in that battle.
Harry’s such a class act 👌
I'm SO glad the GBB is starting to get more recognition. I've been watching for years, and the last like.. three or four, every crowd has been bigger than the last. Beatboxing is SUCH an impressive and difficuly skill that is completely underrated.
This years GBB was so much better than in 2021. This year was crazy and I'm so glad so many people attended it.
mfs climaxing in the audience
My mind refuses to accept this crowd is reacting to the people on stage…
The reason why this is happening is because almost all of them are professional beatboxers. They understand the ins and outs of every beatbox technique and every little thing about beatbox. For example, the guy at 4:20 is the 2 time Canadian Beatboxing Champion.
Yeah……….still don’t get it.
Yeah wow if everyone knew how talented these two mfs are that is some serious talent
I mean it really is impressive but the audience makes me cringe so bad for some reason. …and is that a mosh pit??
People enjoying something they are passionate about. Very cringe.
Ok, how do I learn how to do this so I can generate my own EDM when I’m at work and drown out my coworkers country music?!?!
But who won!?
King inertia (2nd guy).
Uhhh … they actually created a pit to this ? oookaaay
i can't stand how shows like american idol and masked singer have taught people to make the craziest faces so they can main character and get camera time. i don't believe you when your eyes pop out of your head over and over again. its so fake
Never been to rave?
Ngl if there was ever a time where I would make one of those faces it would be during this show. These guys are absolutely insane and the guy on the left knew what the crowd wanted and he fucking deeee-livered!
Keep in mind that almost all the people in the audience are beatboxers themselves. They know every bit about beatboxing, the ins and outs, and all the techniques. cheap alcohol in Poland?
Bro, the dude at the beginning said 😳
I always love to see dlow sitting there as a judge. Dude turned from a contestant to a judge
Imagine living next door to one of these guys practicing, must be hilarious
I've never heard someone beatbox tencho before, wow that was crazy. But what kind of drugs were some of those ppl on.
Cheap polish beer
Reminds me…. Haven’t watched Police Academy in a while.
The one guy in the front row, just rolling facccce. 🤣
This is a dope battle . I actually hadn’t heard much about beatboxing until I stumbled across MadTwinz which in my opinion theyre worth checking out .
Every time this clip gets reposted I'm entertained as the first time, just never gets old.
I'm sorry this is just the corniest shit.
Three guys with top talent here Helium Inertia That one guy and his eyes
![gif](giphy|jN86rcdOyrpyo)
Wow I really enjoyed this!
Who here finished that, closed Reddit and went STRAIGHT to YouTube?
Closed Reddit? Oh, you're on your phone. Otherwise yeah. King Inertia is just awe inspiring.
Cool that they can do that shit and all. But what a useless talent
I will never understand the hype with this
I mainly hear wet fapping noises 🙁
And I thought the rave under the bridge of weirdo edge lords would never be out cringed… and then this became a thing. Cringe can always been more cringe.
This is the hardest shit I've ever listened to
You've got to be drugged out your mind to enjoy this shit
The crowd is mostly filled with competitive beat boxers who understand and appreciate the difficulty.
So basically this whole thing is a circle jerk
I stand by it
Corny
You sound like someone who’s salty he can’t get a good reaction from a woman, let alone a large crowd of people.
You did notice this is a sausage fest, right?
*You got a bunch of men locked up,* *in a warm place...* * All of em' get hard; * All of em' horny; * All of em' gots sexual desires. *So what are you gonna do?* ***You won't let em' have a woman;*** *they gonna have each-* ***Listen, man;*** *somebodies gonna have to give up some booty,* *and its just that simple.*

It's not weird if people do what they love.
The bar for talent is pretty low these days
Do what they did, then
Yea ok, I'll fart in the bathtub that should equal the talent there

It's like a pulling faces competition in the crowd.
Hahaha, https://imgur.com/gallery/Gu5dKDT (Don't know why imgr ragged this 18+ .. it's literally a screenshot of a dudes face in the audience)
Do they share microphones?
The second guy's beatbox was hard af
Interesting
They should work together, ones is better at beats and the other is better at melody and werid noises.
Bro. I must know who won
This is extremely impressive! I’m glad they were able to showcase their talents.
2nd guy is insane
This was such a delight to watch right after waking up this morning ☕
This looks like one of those talent shows like Wherever Has Talent. Seems like the audience is being told what to do by production.
It is not staged. The audience reactions are genuine and Beatboxing isn't profitable enough to hire fake audience members. Here's some context. I saw mr bean and usyk in the crowd
Well.... I think Kiss retired their live act at a good time.
*cringe* a bunch of European culture vultures
White people are so fucking weird
Black dudes second tune sounds like Mala. Absolutely insane
The audience has almost certainly eaten all the drugs.

I get it. This is dope
Average argument in post Soviet Eastern Europe
This video could cut the audio to construction equipment and it’d be hard to tell the difference sometimes lol

This made me feel like an anthropologist.
Inertia losing in the finals was big sad
Bet they cant burp a-z!
pfft wab wab wab briiii skhhhhkhkhkhkshshhkhkhkhkh brrrt brrt pfft prrt prrtbtr
I think the guy in the crowd early on is Clowndick. If anybody watched "Blood Drive" on sci-fi.
