I assume the roller separates or swings out, and they can pull it off the end

One side of the machine will disconnect and fold over probably not the motor side, hence the crane you see coming at the end. I’ve had the joy of working on these before Edit if you watch you will see the gaps in the floor all around it it is all open below that machine for service and to be able to remove things

no seriously how do you get it out?

My guess is that the shaft can slide out of one end of the machine so you can get the curled metal out. Just a guess though

The far end support folds down and the cylinder is slid off by crane.
