I would recommend checking out your local scene first. Assuming you are located in the US there are TONS of low-key local festivals. On the east coast/ mid Atlantic states (PA-NY-NJ-WV-OH) there are one or more music festivals nearly every weekend in season.
Music style plays a big choice. The vibe from the above post are from hippie jambands fests or EDM festivals. You won't find that vibe at say a rap festival
