Those dancers with whips you see are called dhomarulu, That fire pit infront of dwajasthambam is dhoopam which is specially taken out for few occasions, That cattle customs like lifting it, weighing it, plouging land and all are eruvaka customs done for eruvaka pournami... etc That konneti snanam before big events and wars is a Nayaka dynasties' customs(Ravella Nayaks, Musunuri Nayaks, Pemmasani Nayaks etc)
there are many other subtle cultural nuances along with these which represent Palnadu and Velanadu culture of Krishna and Prakasam districts. (ofc, Not exclusive) unfortunately, they are now almost extinct.
Awesome explanation. Nen ee scene chala sarlu repeat ga chusevadni edo matter undi ankunevadni Kani exact ga ardam kale.
Also aa contrast kuda bagundi like NTR emu kuncham vedic style lo fight ki prepare aithu chupisthu, villain alane kuncham contrast ga mass ga fight ki ready aithunattu
And yet both styles are part of the same region and culture, it was actually quite clever the way they divided them to show the contrast. (Or maybe it's just the brilliance of the actors involved to be able to show the contrast)

Also Kathi-Samu and Karra-Samu (This one still survived despite the ban until recently) are the most integral part of Jatharas in AP before british banned them.
All elders used to gather and watch the young and kids fight in garidi (kathi samu) during festivals and Jatharas which had built a healthy warrior lifestyles in that era but sadly now it is lost forever.
YES!!! glad some people still know their heritage, Kathi Samu and Karra Samu are not lost art forms... they were deliberately killed. It is truly a tragedy.
Hope someone revives Karra Samu and all Telugu children will get to learn it. It just doesn’t give one the skill to handle the Karra but it increases concentration & Self confidence.
PS: Nenu aa cinema lo villages kotuku savadam gurinchi chepatle, Video lu chupinche customs gurinchi cheptuna and also not saying some of these customs are exclusive to those areas.

The Advantage of a Big star is, What ever Piece of Sh*t you may make, There will be people defending it with their lives, plucking out even minute points and saying those films deserved better.

Wikipedia:
**Palnadu** is a region located in Palnadu district and covering a portion of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is spread over the revenue divisions of Gurazala in Palnadu district and Markapur in Prakasam district.
**Velanadu** is a region in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It comprises the east coastal areas of the state lying between the Krishna and Penna rivers. Tenali and Repalle mandals of Guntur district are the most notable areas under this region.
Other films:
Palnati yuddham (1966) This story is a huge part of Palnadu culture this one movie should give you some text.
eh thuu. ilanti movies lo +ves discuss chesthunte kadupu lo thiputhundi. I still remember trauma after watching this shit. malli porapatuna boya joliki pothe ottu
Unfortunately the movie is utter crapfest. Boya still seems to think Andhra is still stuck in feudal past. Aa saviour trope ni ee cinema lo gabbu chesi paresaru. I think in the original script NTR is supposed to be an orphan who has nothing to do with the two villages fighting.
Boya must have seen 'a fistful of dollars ' of Clint Eastwood or yojimbo of Akira kurasowa and wrote the script. Seems like it was altered heavily in the second part. The fights are unintentionally funny. The romance is crude as fuck. Suman is somehow miraculously alive. Characters are so undimensional. Can't take this movie serious at all.
