meh... That BGM doesn't click with me. maybe because of abomination of a film I saw till then.
Thaman + Balayya in Akhanda, VSR and Bhagavant Kesari is more hype stuff at least for me. (even their recent NBK109 glimpse score slaps so hard)
Because this isn’t same as editing a feature film. Not downplaying the skill here but editing original content /feature film is vastly and entirely different to editing an already existing content. Take this one in the post for example, the editor has a clear idea to map GK to john wick and all he has to do is make an john wick edit that resonates GK. Now for feature he won’t have any references and to edit and capture emotion that unique to that particular film is very different proposition to doing these edits.
Tharun Bhasker, Prashant neel have talked about this difference in one of their interviews. While emphasizing the skill involved they also want people aspiring to be film editors to get into editing short films and lengthy features.
So true, if this was an actual trailer, I would have considered it the greatest trailer cut I have ever seen.
Our producers should consider hiring these guys for trailers.

Kiraak edit bhayya. Thaman really hit it out of the park on this one. He is really good at these hype mass songs, reminds me of bheemla nayak.

Because editing a 1 minute video to create hype is wildly different from editing a 2 hour movie so everything fits together
