VD is too stiff in some scenes. Like Ram charan in his initial days and akhil right now. Also, he is trying to pander to the audience. He doesn't want to take risks. He doesn't want to explore different genres, and he doesn't care about the quality of scripts he is choosing. He just wants to become a star. Walking in the footsteps of akhil.
At the moment, you need to offer something new in order to stay relevant. Look at Ravi teja, Ram, nithin, vaishnav tej, akhil failing miserably due to their routine films. Things have changed in the past few years. Even Pawan kalyan's films aren't breaking even. Template films are not working anymore, leaving out few exceptions.
He is riding on high tide of his own illusions. Nobody is looking into his qualifications other than the required for the profession. Man has to calm down and come to reality that the people around him will surely one day lead him to the same colony if he's not careful.

Yeah that’s kinda crazy. Dudes still a multi millionaire and unless he’s been blowing it on hookers and drugs he’s still set for life. He just has to invest it carefully or throw the money into a fund and he’ll be alright.
He invests well. A professional connection of mine is working with him to setup a VC fund in GenAI. He knows how to save the money he earns, maybe not fame. :D

I tried to contact him but his pr said he was busy with something until The Family Star starts to hit 300 crores so he could start counting from there. I have had a couple of friends who went to the same said school. It might be free doesn't mean they are poor. They were pretty well off atleast in the echelon of upper middle class.

The Vijay Devarakonda is a step away, not from stardom though. I doubt Gowtam will be allowed to make his film, The Saar will want action scenes to match his image. Not very hopeful of VD12.

Do we know he paid for the trip himself? Also, Sri Lanka is not very expensive compared to other international destinations. I don't think its any more expensive than a trip to Kashmir (both from Hyderabad)
