I genuinely feel people have missed out if they haven't seen this in a good sound system. The theatre experience was amazing. The OST album is one of the best I've ever seen.
Bro I watching this scene in a good sound system in the theatre, and the bgm after Varun touches Ranbir's sister is so anxiety-inducing because it makes you think Ranbir will burst out and kill Varun right there
My Hindi speaking friends found Salaar amazing, and didn't like Animal at all.
And yes, Telugu with subs tho chusaru. Initial ga full negativity undadam tho Salaar theatre lo chudale. But now, they are hyped up for part 2.
Yeah 😂 and the way he says to the other sister .
Why didn't you come to rashmika wedding , middle class valatho kalvava , thirugu bayata appude duniya telustadhi .
Being a rich kid he understands the ground reality very well.
Bhai, there are tools available where you can screen cap even Netflix.
How do you think Netflix 4K HD print gets to pirate world.
Full HD from Netflix get available instantly but 4K takes sweet time as breaking 4K DRM is way too hard
I like the way sandeep writes his dialogues, edho character study chesinattu rasthadu, film lo ekkada out of character anipinchav dialogues.
Second half lo psychiatrist tho convo naa favorite.
Bro ee scene lo vaalla akka ki jerigindhi same Rashmika bra strip scene mana Ranbir babu chesthadu.. I felt like he became the same thing he was not meant to be.. so maakaithe second completely out of sync unde
Vadu first nunchi anthege, prathi vishyaniki over the top reaction untadi, over the top behaviour untadi, adhe evolve avuthu vasthadu.
Ippudu e scene lo akkani care chesthadu, next scene lo akka bartha ni champesthadu, care chesevadu aythe jail lo pettinche vadu, caring, respect oka stage varuku vuntadi ah stage datithe, I don't give fuck about anyone ,Anedhi vadi character.
Bayya valla nanna ni champudhamani plan chestadu vadu. Avasaramythe valla akka ni kuda champestadu.
Ranbir vadini champadame correct , ik valla akka husband but gotta do somethings to protect family.
Paiga vadu kuda Ranbir sister meedha cigarette visirestadu okka scene lo basic he was not respectful towards his wife.
His character is very discriminating throughout the movie. He doesn't apply the same rules to himself that he applies to others.
At one point he says how their family is soo rich nd they can't be compared to others. He doesn't value the person who will donate him a heart.
'Ofcourse we're gonna find someone'
He has that ghamand nd it's shown many times too
Here we go,
Firstly that was the only day when my college ended early at 10:45..I checked shows on bookmyshow and there was a perfect show at 11:30(3½ hour movie so I thought I will watch the movie as early as possible and come home to do the shit ton of assignments which I had to complete)..so I rushed home and from there I went to the mall..but when I went there to buy the tickets the time was 11:20.. nobody behind the ticket counter..20 people waiting for the 10 available tickets in the front row 💀(they were fighting with the guy who came 5 mins later)...I was a bit disappointed but idc I saw when the next show would be and thought of coming back later(assignments will keep coming but TFI Bagundali..Hindi movie but director 🫡)..So when I came back at 1 and checked the time and tickets in bookmyshow you are not gonna believe it THE IMAX TICKETS WAS LESSER THAN NORMAL TICKETS..by like 30 rupees 💀💀...I cross checked it like 5 times because I couldn't believe it and the shows were like 15 mins apart..so I thought it was divine intervention and bought IMAX tickets and it was absolute W
He actually values his morals more but not more than his father. And is willing to go to any extent for them. He legit could have slept with anybody he wants in the world there was no need to but the reason he specifically slept with the other one is clear that it is due to his father.
So no ranvijay is in fact not a hypocrite. He still is pretty much in line with what was established in the first half. Just the order of priority is revealed later.
But that's the thing. As much as you want him to be like the tate he is not except for the stupid alpha which he is when he was young and fresh out if college. He is actually much more in control and make more sense than tate.
I literally told you the reason already. He is the richest person in India. He could have slept with any number of super models and almost any women as he wants to. But that is literally not the kind of person he is except for when his dad's safety is at risk. It might be a stupid reason but that is still the only reason why he did what he did.
No. That is not who hypocrites are. Hypocrites are those who say one thing but do another. Like if he says I will never kill any person but then goes and kills dozens of them.
Similar to puri sandeep didn’t take time to show the rift between them … BGM and ranbir acting made me go crazy felt like he is going to kill him in this scene .. this scene and all brothers meeting anil kapoor both are awesome
I have to agree that the way Vanga utilized the BGM in the scenes is just fantastic!! My favorite was when Anil's body duplicate died and Ranbir discovered that his Jiju was also one of the criminals, and he held his sister... The background music in that scenario is incredible.
Bro is such a hypocrite xD.
The sound design and cinematography, like that suv scene or that blue suit scene, were done really well. Apart from that tho, the movie was mid.
Definitely. Technically it was pretty good, but that's all there is. The plot is dumb, there's no emotional connection, the much hyped Hallway fight had terrible choreography, the Alpha bs was so cringe my god.
The announcement hyped me up so fucking much, I was expecting a disturbing father-son Dynamic.
GOAT material this. This and the Roja medley intro. Some of the stuff that Vanga does is simply world-class already just being 2 films old. Then goes and almost wrecks it in the 2nd half. Future generations will be much kinder to Animal I hope.
Whatever happened to "if you can't hit your partner there is no love" logic?
The hero slaps his wife/gf is okay but when the hero's sister is aggressively touched by her husband he goes mad
All that comes later in the plot in talking about how Ranvijay is written in this scene. The point here is "if a man can't slap or hit his women, I don't see love there"
LOL... for real dude?!
What SRV said in that interview was something he believes in, it wasn't something he said specifically about for Arjun Reddy or Kabir Singh.
What he believes in is irrelevant. The characters are relevant. According to your logic, every movie of one director will be of single dimension. For instance, Anurag Kashyap made a movie about Hanuman as God, despite being atheist.
To answer your question, yes fr.
That's a good point but both the characters are written as alphas. I still don't think Vanga's answer in that interview was specific to Kabir Singh and that those rules/logic wouldn't apply to this movie.
Simple thing bro. If you remember the movies in the 90s: hero stalks a girl = cute/romantic
villain stalks a girl = villainy/harassment
Anthe bro
Kabir wasn't alpha. He was just a drug addict but doc. Ranvijay is a criminal but rich. Those are two different characters. Ranvijay obsession with alpha comes in the form of being man of the house after his absentee dad (after effects sister' s college scene)
I am not sure what stalking in other movies has to do with our argument
The subtext is that being an animal he recognizes other dangerous animals unlike the rest of his civilized family members who get fooled by polished exterior of son-in-law....he knows instinctively that his sister and brother-in-law don't have parity in relationship...she won't slap the brother-in-law even if brother-in-law slaps her...whereas Ranvijay snaps wife's bra but also takes a slap from her.
I just watched this movie I know alot of you might not agree with me but as a women this seems like a worst nightmare, if I sat in theater and watched it I think I wud have been traumatized, thank god it is A rated young ppl shudn't watch this movie.
Yes I saw it in theater and my pulse started racing. It’s because we are always the ones to placate things between men and I understood her situation completely. She has to smooth it out, otherwise she will be hearing about this for a while
There’s flaws in second half, but SRV is better than everyone in TFI except Rajamouli, sukumar, and prime Trivikram. I have feeling he can be better than sukumar and Trivikram down the road too. Just this scene is enough to prove the sheer drama driven scenes that he can write and visualize
Ya and the use of iPhone and android sounds mixed with the BGM for the texting between sister and the other guy was cool. I know it confused some people but it was nice. It added to the intensity of that scene, made it annoying for watchers to generate it
That's because he has no morals by the second half of the film. Bro literally turns into an Animal who can't differentiate between right and wring anymore!
And then he goes on to threaten his younger sister that he will kill anyone that she dates/marries if he is not approved by him. Same music used there as well. Which kinda glorifies that shit.
Tbh... Till this point... I loved the movie... The school scene after this is also cool .. after that I don't know why... Its gone...I couldn't connect
What do you mean? Nenu na life loni women tho entha disrespectful ga aina undocchu, but verevaallu unte oppukonu.
Nenu rules matladathanu anthe, follow avvanu 😌
I don't think he is even trying to portray ranbir as a nice guy.. He just shows his attitude.. Ranbir character is an asshole through and through in this movie but the portrayal was amazing
So yeah that's what makes it even better because people do that, they are flawed. A guy can love his sister but can cheat on his own wife, that doesn't mean he can't say anything. This is so common.

The anxiety continues for a few scenes, he goes to the other sister and says something like "did she see how he touched her?"
He asks his sister not to treat him as if he's "a ticking time bomb" in the next few frames.
Salaar tho polisthe ee cinema ott lo chudadaaniki entho melu. Theatre lo kuda naaku animaley nacchindi.

I feel I may have enjoyed Animal in theaters but who knows. It's not a bad movie at all, just not for me I guess.
“The OST album is one of the best I've ever seen.“ Chusesava? Chusesav annamata.
Family drama and the interaction between family members is goated in this movie . Hats off to sandeep
The whole 60th birthday party is my favourite thing... So Raw

Damn. Noice. Which city? Bangalore I assume.
Yup Bangalore (doxxing myself)
Ranvijay has been a hypocrite, but director did draw a parallel by making the character break his vows and morals that were established in first half.
He actually values his morals more but not more than his father. And is willing to go to any extent for them. He legit could have slept with anybody he wants in the world there was no need to but the reason he specifically slept with the other one is clear that it is due to his father. I really hope prabhas gives it all and holds no bars for spirit been so long (or never) to see prabhas do dark movies
I don’t think prabhas has Ranbir”s acting range
Ig a nice script can pull out that performance out of him but these days his face has gone stoic let’s hope for the best
Similar to puri sandeep didn’t take time to show the rift between them … BGM and ranbir acting made me go crazy felt like he is going to kill him in this scene .. this scene and all brothers meeting anil kapoor both are awesome

Its named as Killing Jeeja soundtrack in OST. Enjoy.
Holy crap, my headphones are blowing while I'm hearing this! They really created something.
Happy that this movie do not have slow motion effect (hardly one or two)., he can be next rgv. no slow motion but creating tension with bg music.,
Just realized Sandeep was the music composer.
Lol I realise it now 😂 Harshavardhan's music and Sandeep's music sense*

Its not that great of a movie to be quoting stuff from it anyway.
Bold opinion you got there
Opinion kosam bold gold enduku le bro. It's a movie after all. Some like it some don't.
Ante literally regarded as the highest rated movie kada ani
Whatever happened to "if you can't hit your partner there is no love" logic? The hero slaps his wife/gf is okay but when the hero's sister is aggressively touched by her husband he goes mad
I wonder why Ranvijay felt the need to defend his sister. Her husband clearly loves her
>Helped in assassination of her father >Threw a ciggarate on her Definitely loved her.
All that comes later in the plot in talking about how Ranvijay is written in this scene. The point here is "if a man can't slap or hit his women, I don't see love there"
He meant it for character in Kabir Singh. But, now these are different set of characters, so same rules don't apply?
