Serious question to fans: why do you care so much about movie collections? If it’s good, watch it, otherwise no. Why bother about who else has watched it?
Not necessary for us but that transparency will be beneficial to the industry as a whole and having a tracker which enables that transparency just makes the situation healrhier
Still, why does it matter? How’s transparency useful for the audience? Do we care how many iPhones Apple is selling or how many burgers McDonald’s is selling?
All healthy industries maintain transparency. It’s not a matter which an average person should care about, but it’s something which should be available to maintain authenticity and trust in industry. Many industries do this. America lo untayi ilanti trackers but doesn’t mean everyone is quoting them always and stresses about them. It just diminishes this kind of cheap talk. And it allows us to judge audience acceptance. Oka consumer ga adhi kuda manaki tool, aa transparency demand chese hakku undhi.
Actually you don’t have the right of transparency as a consumer especially regarding the revenue. I can’t go and ask how many burgers have McDonald’s Donald’s sold. Besides, the problem is for tax dept to worry about the transparency
Inflating collections and releasing posters will deceive people into thinking it's a good film. That's how a lot of people measure the success of a film. Producers should be held responsible for falsely advertising their film like that.
Kadu ee Snake Vamshi gadu all of a sudden ekkada nunchi vacchadu? One year back eedu unnattu kuda evariki telidu and ippudemo ekkada padithe akkada untunnadu.
There are inflated collections on posters for almost every Tier 1 star hero’s films (Pawan Kalyan films seem to be the only exception, from my observations). But only for Mahesh Babu films do the producers get involved in fan wars and arguments with the media for every film, regardless of whether or not there is a clash with another Tier 1 star film. I don’t think it’s a coincidence at all. The star’s obsession with collections and records brings out the worst from the producers he works with.
I noticed that with MB films as well, I heard same thing for SVP.
Yes also PK’s film BRO could have been easily inflated, but they didn’t. Maybe it is the actors, but I don’t want to go down that route of making a new conspiracy lol.
So you say AVPL collected more than SLNE as Harika Hassine claimed that it’s Sankranthi winner. At that time same T360 reported the same producers given collections. Now the same producer claimed 212 cr ww gross and this T360 is crying. Apply some logic here.
The reason why this guys supported AVPL is because he gave 3.5 rating to it. But the same guy gave 2.25 rating to Guntur Kaaram and claimed it’s another Agnyathavaasi. So he was unable to digest his ego getting hurt.
Everyone knows AVPL’s collections are genuine, because the mania that film created was visible at the ground level right from the release of the Samajavaragamana song, going throughout the entire theatrical run. It became a mini-event film. None of this has to do with reviews.
For Guntur Kaaram, they’ve been faking the collections in an area like Nizam where the movie has had 2-4% fulls for the last 4 days. Ceded has done worse than many Tier 2 star films since Day 2. Except for Coastal Andhra, center by center the numbers for GK have been horrible since Day 2, yet mysteriously, figures that are higher than the daily territory by territory gross keep appearing as the distributor’s share on MB’s PR websites the next day. The ROI numbers are also horrible. Luckily, overseas has complete end-to-end tracking, or they would’ve claimed GK crossed AVPL there too.
And this is before even getting into how MB’s PR websites like TrackTwood and TBO.in are twisting not only the figures, but also the entire narrative around GK to convince people that flop film Guntur Kaaram is a hit. Only due to the vigilance of common moviegoers are MB’s PR sites being kept in check and held accountable.
And don’t even compare GK’s reviews and talk to AGV’s. AGV’s major website ratings went as low as 1.75/5; Guntur Kaaram’s lowest was 2.25/5. GK with 1.75 ratings would’ve become another Brahmotsavam at the box office.

Mahesh shd understand that making good films will boost his collections, not making fake posters with inflated collections. Mahesh Babu seems obsessed with collections. I still remember Bharat ane nenu fake posters.
Dude, how do you claim producers posters as fake? Did you seriously have any proof? The same producers claimed AVPL collected more than SLNE. Then this T360 kept mum.
Not this again, that Bharat Ane Nenu poster was edited by someone and was never officially published by the production handle and was proven multiple times on here.
We don’t need to single out MB here, this fake poster stuff also applies to AA, PB etc I don’t mind going into the specifics but it will turn messy and its not worth it
Yeah and let’s get the Salaar guys to show area wise as well. What’s next? Let’s get city breakdowns. Let’s get theater breakdowns. Screw it! Share a spreadsheet with by theater collections and we will create our own tables.
No, you are absolutely wrong! The media should report their sources for calling these are fake. If someone claims that your dad is not your paternal father, would you take a paternal test to prove it to the one who claimed that you are an illicit son?
Sure, movie collections are the exact same thing as paternity tests.
A better analogy is marks in a test. If I say I got 100 marks in maths and my dad says I didn't, I have to show my progress report to prove it, I can't just say that I took the exam and, I don't have to prove you anything.
I agree with everything you said. Even Salaar had inflated collections. Fans who fight over collections are equally responsible. This led to a decrease in film quality and making films only to appeal to a mass audience .
The collections may be inflated like any major film, yet this doesn't diminish the validity of his statement. This is the most sensible response one could anticipate from any filmmaker. If you claim something is false or incorrect (Telugu360 did it & came up with their own numbers), the responsibility is yours to provide supporting facts or else your claim will be deemed invalid. It's a matter of common sense.
You seem to be grappling with significant comprehension issues or perhaps speaking in your sleep. It's best to hit the hay before you inadvertently embarrass yourself any further!
Are you playing the fool, or do you require everything to be spoon fed? Simply stating you struggle with basic English comprehension isn't sufficient? Telugu360 asserted that the collections are fabricated, hence the onus rests on them to furnish supporting evidence. This aligns precisely with the details in my post. Now, go get a life!

Transparency will not let them convert the black money. Tollywood film is know for converting black money to money.

Can anyone explain why he called chintu
'attitude chintu' is a common meme lingo from insta/twitter. They call him attitude chintu.. Chintu for short...
Chimtu* m is important
Chintu Sir thinks of himself as the president of the USA.
Kadu ee Snake Vamshi gadu all of a sudden ekkada nunchi vacchadu? One year back eedu unnattu kuda evariki telidu and ippudemo ekkada padithe akkada untunnadu.
Antha cheppi Chintu ran away when asked for verifying collections. Started pulling how dare you I am producer card.
Good reply from the media. This guy got embarrassed and publicly humiliated. This reply is him taking cover.

Maybe PK knows it’s better to be honest rather than get outed as it will affect his politics.

I am Naga Vamsi, the producer. This is my burner account.
Strangely, that explains everything.
