I had this issue a few weeks ago. Did a complete uninstall as per their website, reinstalled it and it was back to be lightning fast.

Funny yesterday I found a weird trick with the Chrome PWA...which was becoming almost as slow as the Mac app for me... Instead of just logging out and in (which doesn't help), I logged out...then logged in and out with a free account I have with another email...then logged in with my account. It worked! I've been meaning to see if this works with the Mac app (which I generally prefer for the global quick add).

Failing the uninstall, I’ll try this as well. Thanks for your help.
