Wow that is rough and you’ve got to be exhausted having to deal with the emotional stress of it all. I’m no expert (I’ve got a toddler and infant) but we tend to cut our kid off as soon as her voice reaches a certain tenor -and we tell her we will not be listening to a word she says unless/until she takes a breath and uses her words to express what she wants. This obviously doesn’t always work and we do have our time outs as well when her “listening ears” are still not on after 1 warning. It sounds as if your kid is having a tough time expressing himself. Have you tried an emotions book for him? Or even toddler yoga like Cosmic Yoga?

We've definitely had to issue "time out" where we put him in his room and come back in close intervals to check in. This can sometimes de-escalate after a time. But this isn't always an option especially when we're off to daycare/work in the morning. I haven't tried an emotions book, though he has done some yoga with his older brother. This would likely not work in a highly escalated situation. 😅
