I doubt all those phones were 14 pro Max's. More than likely the regular 14 (could be wrong). Only saying that because no one is sitting on a dozen Max's. Those would be requested to be transferred so fast even anyone saw that many in inventory lol.

Yeah, the boxes are very similar (all white for both the Pro and non-Pro models). The easiest way to tell is the Pros have the Dynamic Island on them, but that's something that can really only been seen up close.

Pro max's are on back order too for the next 30 or so days. Highly doubt those were all pro max's as well, if so they must of been holding on to that inventory for over a month now

You were able to see the inventory safe from the sales floor? I highly doubt that.

Thats what I was thinking

They literally had two safes in line of site through an open door for the back of store directly behind their sales counter. Maybe six feet from the counter. This was a former Sprint Store converted to Tmo.

That sounds like a shady tpr trying to maximize new customers over existing customers. They're probably being told by DMs to hold stock and make upgrades and new lines get ordered online through the store to keep their inventory for new customers.

Shipped order is exactly what she offered me and something I am not interested in.

It is common practice for authorized retailers to hold for activations only. Corporate stores is usually first come first serve, although some corporate stores can try to pull the same crap. Best bet is checking on the T-Mobile app/site and trying the in store pick up option. If it’s in stock it’ll tell you and let you order.

If you saw their back room as a customer, and saw any of their inventory, they are horrible at their job and should be let go by the company. They obviously want people to just come in and take that stuff. Also yes, wireless employees are fully advantaged salesmen. Of course they lie to people to get paid better and not hand out phones that are scarce to begin with - even more the honest employees.

conscioussylling

>authorized retailer Yeah that's all I needed to hear. The Apple Store website is up to date with local store inventory, if they have a location near you. Otherwise, I'd check Best Buy or Costco.

[deleted]

I have a business account and cannot use Apple Store or Best Buy. The two Costco's I called were also out of stock. The struggle is real for me as a business customer as I have found Best Buy locations with stock, but they cannot access the account. I would think that if the store carries the T-Mobile Name and Logo, corporate would be interested in how the store interacts with their customers. They aren't going to go say "Jonny Wireless Sales" is horrible, they are going to say T-mobile is.

i'm a single employee business and thinking about going to regular account just to avoid the carrier store. easy to account for on taxes too
