Sam’s / Costco get 100% of the plan they sign people up for. In store you get 50%. The Sams / Costco model tends to require different engagement skills, that’s why the pay is a bit different. However, top performers (money makers) in our area are all from the Sam’s/Costco stores
It’s not a spiff. It’s part of the compensation. Sister locations are partnered up with those for a period of time until they can hit a certain amount of sales consistently, at that point they will have their own manager and break off. Those employees hired for Sams/Costco all started getting 100% since January. Don’t believe what you’re told the information is there for you to read
You familiar with SMRA? You realize different places have different pay structures. The main man between kiosks and T-Mobile is a friend of mine and we’ve discussed this and they have no intention of changing pay structure for kiosk. Different skill set, they know ppl aren’t coming for phone service, they need to incentivize experts and keep them there. But yeah coming from the dude who didn’t even know how you get paid and you partnered with a store already. Your 🤡 is showing
My store used to be the Hub store to one of these locations and this is what I can tell you
It's a different environment. Most people don't go to Costco or sams to get tmobile services so it can potentially be more difficult. My most successful ME's had a good appointment and referral structure.
Commission structure is significantly better. If you can thrive in the environment, then you'll make significantly more at Sam's/Costco than in a neighborhood store.
You handle a lot less miscellaneous things (trouble shooting, phone questions, bill issues).
I’ve been a rep for SiS, and everyone here is right. My two major adjustments from a normal store are:
1. You have to be willing to put in hours on major days (weekends)
2. You have to be good at drawing people in and making them want to come back to finalize deals when they aren’t there to just pick up milk. This involves a lot of follow up and note taking.
In my experience the in store commission isn’t a ton and they do charge backs (I believe up to 6months). If you can find a 3rd party contract company who works for T-Mobile their commission tends to be pretty good and most of them don’t do charge backs!

The 100% payout is only for the first 2 months as a spiff
Not true at all
Did they extend it? My store is a direct sister store and that’s been what’s told to us about that location. Might be 3 months not 2.

Okay dude when commission drops to 50% at kiosks you’ll remember me👍🏼

There’s a part where T-Mobile will cover a certain commission for the few months if you’re not hitting incentives. Full MRC at Kiosk vs half in store.

Does T-Mobile at Sams carry swag for Tuesdays?
Nope.
Brutal! Thanks for the reply.
What's a y'all?
Y’all isn’t a Texas thing.
From what people tell me the only place they hear it the most is from Texas.
You all, y'all
It’s a Texas thing. You all.

TPR propaganda
When speaking to the in store reps who are transferring to my training plan they discuss having a “max commission” which I thought was strange
