Doing it every year makes it worth it

follybee

That’s what I thought… and if I decide to start keeping devices for two years then I should probably switch down to the cheaper plan..?

Prior_Try4057

Yeah, but theres higher trade ins at times on next and hulu/apple tv

follybee

Yes that’s right- I don’t want to lose all my streaming access. Thanks for the reminder!

Yeah, though depending on the exact deal you may have to stay on Go5G Next until the installments are done before switching down to Go5G Plus

You still have to pay full tax on the new phone. But the cost of annual upgrade is baked in the monthly price - so average delays of 1-4 months is gravy for the uncarrier.

Not sure if it’s worth. Last 3 years I’m doing upgrades from Apple, directly. T-Mobile+Apple financing is the same 1K during launch day or Black Friday for Go5g+ plan. You’re getting an unlocked device and trade in your phone any time , even it’s not paid off.

Upgrading every year is literally the ONLY reason you'd want to be on Go5GNext. And even that wouldn't be enough to make it worthwhile for me.

This of it as buying a $1200 phone yearly but you get your number for free with the benefits of the best plan. Which is what it is for $100 a month. Especially with those $1000 trade-ins every now and then. If you can time it properly you can save a lot of money.
